Lake Ridge Pizzaria — Restaurant in Virginia

Walked in to a very awkward set up. The cashier couldn’t find my online order in the system despite being given my first and last name with spelling, phone number, and the complete order details verbally. I was then told by a different employee who was eating behind the cashier , that my food was delivered. I placed an online order for pick up. I asked how could it have been delivered when I didn’t leave an address because I specifically ordered it for pick up. She then repeated , it left for delivery and asked if I wanted her driver to be called. I asked where was it delivered to and was met yet again with the unhelpful response of “it’s getting delivered”. The cashier really did her best and it’s clear that whatever role the person eating is in , she needs some serious etiquette and customer interaction training. I was then met by another employee who was trying to figure out where my food went and then denied my order being to their location despite their address being included in the email confirmation. The cashier and I both gave her the details and I showed my email confirmation of my online pick up order. The eater in the back kept repeating that it was out being delivered. My food was set out , getting cold on the counter directly in front of the unhelpful incorrect woman eating her food. 🙄😒 NO SILVERWARE was my first observation after hightailing it out before I blew a fuse. Then , my food was incredibly cold. Expected after that lengthy exchange to just locate it. MY ORDER WAS WRONG ! on top of everything else. The gyro was tasteless. The chicken breading was soggy sopping with grease , and the wings themselves were plain completely unseasoned. I ordered hot wings. I wasn’t even given sauce on the side. The fries are subpar , even for fries. The gyro is dripping and inedible, which is a shame because I typically love gyros. My first experience at this place. I ordered Chicken Quesadilla with a coke for to-go and it came out fast, fresh, and delicious. However, there are two teenager’s who I believe are related to someone at the Pizzeria and one was female. She didn’t look very happy for whatever reason and the male just sat in the booth on his phone while she took my order in a monotoned voice and blank face.

I don’t believe it looks good for business and if you’re not having a good day, don’t extend your negativity to customers because you are the fresh faces and voices we see and hear when we come in.

To the woman walking around waiting tables and working hard today around mid-late noon, if these are your children or relatives, I’m sorry for how ungrateful they are as far as the first impression I received today and for their poor work ethic and attitudes.

I was once there in my teens working to pay for my own car... and maybe they aren’t in that situation, but I hope they see this and learn from this.

Just tried this place via delivery for the first time last week & it is my new favorite pizza! Really don't care for the fast foods of pizza so have had a hard time finding a 'real' pizza near me. I love the crust--not too thin, not thick. The sauce is really different! At first, thought it might be salty but that is not it at all!! It's seasoned and sort of unique. Also got lemon pie & cheesecake last week & both were amazing! If they don't make them on site, then they seem to be freshly made somewhere nearby! I reordered today, been craving that pizza. The food is consistent; however, the deli Wu 'Slice' is not . Can't review Slice like you can other delivery services. Got notification it left the store, nearly an hour later, it arrived. Cold. And the two desserts had flipped in the box & kinda broken up. I know it's all ultimately going to the same place; however, just makes me feel like my stuff wasn't taken care of on way here:( First time delivery arrived perfect & hot. So Slice, not so happy with. LRP rocks in my book! I'll use a different deliverer next time. Try...
