If you are looking for more than just your average hair stylist, then book your appointment with Summer! I promise that you will NOT regret it. The last time I had my hair cut was probably late 2016/early 2017 so I was super nervous because it was almost to my waist. I also was just nervous in general because I had a lot of memories with that hair since my last cut and a part of me felt that cutting it was sort of symbolic of cutting certain things/people out of my life. Summer’s process was gentle, exciting, and creative. I couldn’t have asked for a better first time experience at AW Salon. She explained every single product she used and it made me so much more comfortable to know that she is knowledgeable about the products she uses. I absolutely LOVE my new look and Im so blessed to have met such a beautiful soul in the process. Summer, keep doing what you love because it is transformational. I had an appointment at the salon to get a haircut and balayage done. I got the French haircut and it turned out okay like any other haircut. I was not happy with my balayage service though because it wasn’t what I had asked for. I wanted brighter pieces around my face and ended up with a strip down the middle and banding throughout my hair. I contacted the salon and the stylist got me in to fix the problem but only ended up fixing around my face because she didn’t see the banding. We thought maybe it was just the lighting at my house but upon looking at it again in the car and my house this was not the case. When I scheduled my next appointment I was then contacted weeks later and told that she no longer was focusing on the technique needed to get my hair to the look I wanted and that she would like me to contact one of the other stylist to make an appointment. I was kind throughout the whole thing even with not liking my hair and I still rescheduled with her only to have her try to pass me off to another stylist. I normally would not leave a review but the whole situation is very frustrating...

I love this salon, and love that it's growing by leaps and bounds! Abby is such a talented stylist and educator, but more than that she is such a strong proponent of other women and making them feel special. To me it makes sense that her salon has grown from just a single chair when Abby first went out on her own to this huge location that is once a gain expanding and growing. Her staff has the best in education and products knowledge. Abby even made a huge lounge on the second floor so clients can enjoy some quiet time, borrow a book from their library, or grab a coffee and snack.
