Our family of 5 adults recently visited for the first time, after hearing great reviews. We had a 4:30 reservation and were seated promptly. We waited at least 20 minutes to place our orders. Once the order was placed the appetizers and main dishes came out in a timely manner. The food was hot and delicious however service in general was lacking we needed to remind our server that we had ordered a bottle of wine and had to ask more than once for items. Although our food was amazing no one ever checked back on us. We were excited to try dessert and eventually had to flag someone down to get dessert menus who was not our waitress, she brought the menus and promised boxes that were never brought. We sat with the dessert menus for 30 minutes as servers continued to serve others and bus tables. Finally we were able to get our servers attention and she did bring us boxes and take the dessert order. The dessert came quickly along with our check which she proceeded to cash out while we tried to enjoy our dessert. As soon as our payment had been processed another server stopped by to ask us to leave our table because they had another reservation insinuating that we had been lingering when in reality we had received very slow service which we had been very patient with and still tipped our server well. While we would love to visit again as the food was delicious we felt very disrespected by this treatment. Our meal took 2 hours, and the lack of communication among servers was evident to ask a table to leave quickly after such...
Read moreHave you always wished you were born Italian? Maybe that’s just me. I’ve even dreamed I could befriend someone’s Nonna, just so I could be blessed to eat in her kitchen. No need for those wishes anymore, thanks to Maisanos Little Italian Kitchen.
I’ve had the Fulton location bookmarked for YEARS after reading raving reviews in Facebook groups, but never made it down that far. I was so excited to see this location opened!
My first experience did not disappoint. The arancini was cooked perfectly and the mozzarella sticks were to die for! Literally, last wish mozzarella sticks. They’re huge and made from scratch. The gnocchi was delicious and is such a difficult dish to find! The meatball bake was awesome with both alfredo and red sauce and a thick layer of cheese baked on top. I can’t wait to return and try the lasagna!
The staff was incredibly friendly and the owner even came out to chat in the end. You can tell how passionate they are about their food and service. On the way out we tasted the gelato and it was so smooth and packed with flavor. They informed us the gelato machine came straight from Italy. Wow!
The restaurant is small, but feels cozy. Be sure to make reservations! I loved all the old character and the holiday decorations as well. Next time I’ll take photos before I or our group...
Read moreThe food was good but not great and the portions were very small to the point that we had to eat again two hours later. They were nearly 40 minutes late for our 6:30 reservation and there is zero waiting area. If you want your dinner at or near your reservation time and you want portions that have you satisfied when leaving, try another restaurant. It was okay but not good enough to go back. Even our waitress said the wait times are a mess and they won't do anything to fix them.
They were sold out of the specials at 7:15 and dinners do not come with salads, never heard of that at an Italian restaurant but get every dollar you can. I ordered gnocchi with meatballs and there was maybe 15 gnocchi on the plate and it was luke warm. My son had chicken parm and it was maybe a 6 ounce chicken breast. My wife's and other sons meals were fine. I forgot to mention that none of our meals came at the same time. Bad experience. Not a good place for over two people in a group. The waitress was extremely apologetic but said it happens all the time and she was sorry. No apologies about the staggered or cold food. Again, if more than two people go...
