ALDI — Local services in North Canton

ALDI North Canton is pretty nice. For an Aldis, this place is big. Unfortunately, it seems kind of empty for the size. The extra room is nice, but when it's $.25 deposit for a cart and bags are too pricey to simply give away**, why the waste in energy with a store so un-Aldi like. THE STORE IS GREAT!! DONT GET ME WRONG. Its clean. it's nice. it seems new, prices and selection are pretty much the same as the rest. So they are great also. Why are you reviewing an Aldi anyhow? First time taking the shuttle from the moon and you land in North Canton? Possible although I am betting this isnt the case.

**I agree with no bags unless made of biodegradable paper. for the environent and over use of oil. Who wants to see bags blowing down the street, stuck in every nook and cranny? Not me. Majority of produce completely empty and what is there is rotten yet still on the shelf. That’s disgusting. I can also get 5lb of potatoes at Meijer cheaper

Adding to this after my second chance experience. Cashier Hannah was rude!!! Manager was no help. Three—not 1 not 2 but 3 boxes of holiday spices were sitting in the slot price marked $1.15 get to the register and they ring at $1.89 each not only that but my total should have been $37.43. My initial total was almost $45 dollars. When I questioned it Hanna was very upset and took everything out of the cart and voided it to prove she hadn’t done anything wrong ( mind you I haven’t accused her I did question what ring up wrong) then my total changed to $41.72 so clearly she had double rung up something. If the manager would have honored the price listed where the spices where my total would have been spot on. So the fact is no body has even Penny’s to throw away right now and I paid 3.50 more that I should have.

Finest Aldi store in the area. INDOOR CART STORAGE makes a cleaner store. The quarter lock on the cart somehow helps people return the cart where it belongs even considering a quarter buys nothing. Very few national brands although you'll find the store brands are usually above average and what you want. Produce is very good and meat is excellent with superior packaging and seems laser sealed Right size means you can grab the essentials and stock food your family will eat in a quick trip.
