SOL Pie Pizza — Restaurant in Ohio

My wife is pregnant, and everyone married knows how important tastes and smells are to a woman during this stage. Well, we ordered from this place for the first time, and I watched hopefully as my wife took one bite. She said, "Honey, you should not have introduced me to this place, because this is the best pizza I have ever had. The rest is mine." Sure she let me have a few more pieces, but the remaining was food for my soul, watching her feed herself and our unborn baby. We were sitting there watching the staff working very hard while waiting for our pizza. The phone was ringing constantly, and lots of orders. We see that this small pizza place is going through growing pains, as it builds in popularity. Owner is actually trying to find another bigger place to meet demand. It is a husband and wife owned restaurant, and they care very much. I talked with the owner to share with him my wife's wonderful reaction...

This review is a shout out to the young man who was working yesterday around 5pm and at the front counter. Thank you! Since covid almost nowhere has real customer service. You have done exactly what customer service should be. I have a gluten allergy to the point of bloating, hives, breathing issues and even Anaphylaxis ( if i eat a lot) . I've been scared to eat most places for the last 2 years, almost 3. I know the menu said, GF by the meat topings. My paranoid self had to verify they were actually GF since sausage and pepperoni are normally made with wheat fillers. He actually double checked. He was understanding.

Also, the atmosphere is nice. Laid back, homely, summery vide. The food!!! Omg! I got home and as I ate it. I thought " no way is this GF." Well no bloating, no hives, no breathing issues, so it is GF. Maybe the best GF food ever!! 😋 highly...

I told somebody today, probably the last 75 times we’ve ordered pizza, it’s been from Sol Pie. There’s really no reason to order it from anywhere else. To say the quality of their food was second to none would imply there was a pizza place in NE Ohio that was on the same playing field as them. We get sheet pizzas for every party we have and everybody’s reaction is the same from the first bite”this Izzy is incredible”. Add in the Sol Sub which is like a healthy version of Donatos Big Don and make sure to order the Zeppole for the morning after breakfast.
