I've been going to Yoders since before the ownership change. The new owners have always been nice and accommodating but this last visit they seemed annoyed by my order. The woman behind the deli counter seemed really put-off that I asked for shaved salami and turkey. Said their slicers can't do that right now, so I said that's fine just get it as thin as possible. When I walked away she grumbled to the other worker about it loud enough for me to hear, basically dismissing my request. It was all very weird and unexpected since I usually have a great visit. In the end I got 2lbs of lunch meat not shaved and I don't know if I'll be back anymore. Which is disappointing because I love supporting small business, but not when they're rude...
Read moreBeen here four or five times and always come out with a good satisfied feeling. The deli meats and cheeses sliced to order are great without the crowds of a supermarket. Baked goods are wonderful, Troyer brand Amish fruit pied a favorite. Haven't' bought any bulk items but will next time I go in. Bread is good and you get park close and get in and out without a major parking maneuver. Much saner than Beiler's up in Uniontown but has no produce like Beiler's...
