I love this Farmer's Market so much and look forward to its opening week every year. They have a great variety of vendors, supporting local farms and products and it's an absolutely wonderful resource for the community. There's an incredible CSA option through Wild Coyote Farms that is wildly affordable and offers a customizable option. Green Fire Farms is our go-to for pasture-raised beef, pork, poultry, eggs and even our Thanksgiving Turkey. 'Cruelty Free You + Me' has been a welcome program to help engage the kids, and Stamper Cheese has some of our favorite cheese ever. Ever! We are so grateful for this market and all the hard work that goes into putting it together.

this market is open may11-oct19 every wednesday 3-7. i think the first few weeks have to be my favorite because everyone has out their flowers they are selling, this year i got some beautiful peonies! in spring they have flowers & a ton of fresh berries while in the fall they have squash, pumpkin, & pies! i usually spend about 20-30 minutes here, it isnt that big but not so small its dissapointing! everyone is very nice, especially the crepe guys! there is usually some type of fresh food vendor & most of the time live entertainment. i would recommend this market esp if you live around the area you should try to go at least once during the spring!

I stopped in cause I saw this is last one.☹️ I got a biscuit for $4, it was ok . Got some of pumpkin bread (I haven't tried yet). And this jalapeno infused honey. I thought honey was thick, this wasn't. It had a good taste but too runny. It had texture more like jalapeno juice with a little honey.😑

The reason for the three stars rather than four, which it decidedly deserves, is the numerous dogs in the market. They're on leashes, but so what? The street is very narrow, and maneuvering among the different shoppers is difficult enough without having to watch out for the dogs. When I asked someone that works there why dogs are allowed in such a small, cramped space--where ready-to-eat food is sold on the premises--all he could do was say that it was a public space and that they had every right to be there. Drivel and nonsense. It may be a public space, but on Farmers' Market days the public is limited to what it can do there. (Would barreling down the street in a motorcycle be accepted on this day? Or even on a bike or skateboard? I hardly think so.) Hey, whoever's in charge of the market--why don't you do what they've started doing in other Farmers' Markets in the U.S., which is assigning certain hours to dog owners and other hours to those that don't want the mutts bothering them as they're trying to enjoy all that the market has to offer without bumping into dogs (or having them bump into you). For instance, 3-5:30 p.m. no dogs; 5:30-8 p.m. dogs are allowed. The expression "Dog days of summer" has taken on a new,...

A real farmer's market, like this one is, with actual FARMERS. There is lots of organic foods, 2 farm booths, and whatever is in season is there. Other newer "farmer's markets" are opening up with NO FARMERS! They just have local businesses, freelance artists, cookie bakers, and wallet makers pushing their wares. Oh, Andersonville Farmers market is as expensive as the rest, but you have EVERYTHING you need to make dinner. You don't have to stop at a grocery store to get food not sold there. Gotta shout out to C&D Family Farm. The meat from them has eliminated hubby's tummy troubles. C&D family farms is now the only farm I buy meat, eggs, etc. from. They DELIVER directly to my front door year-round! Thank-you Andersonville for saving us from poor...
