I don't know who to be more upset with – the restaurant or the reviews that led me here. I want whatever all the 5-star reviews are smoking; stuff must be craaaaaazy.
This place is probably up there with some of the most disappointing middle-eastern food I've eaten. It's a small place, which is fine, so there's not a lot of space to sit and dine-in if you were looking to do that. When I visited, it looked like most of the tables were occupied by delivery drivers waiting for their orders.
I had the beef shawarma wrap with with garlic sauce and french fries, and it was rather bland. The beef was a little too chewy, dry, and a tad overcooked. It makes me wonder if all of the meat portions are prepared ahead of time and heated up in the microwave or something to order. The fries were just fries, nothing really special there.
I got an order a falafel, and it was not good. They had a weird taste to them, almost like they were stale or a couple days old or something like that. Very disappointing and borderline inedible.
I unfortunately can't recommend this place at all, don't waste your time or money here. The man at the cash register was nice though, and was accommodating when I needed to grab extra cash from the ATM (cash only). Sadly, the food is not authentic, nor worth the trouble of getting extra cash. I'm convinced the people leaving 5-star reviews don't know what authentic middle-eastern food is and that, I think, is sadder than the food I...

I’ve been craving Middle Eastern food, and my husband took me to [Restaurant Name] for a Wednesday lunch.
Food: They offer a small but well-curated selection of Middle Eastern dishes. As vegetarians, we tried the Falafel wrap and the vegetarian combo. The falafel was perfectly crispy, and the Hummus and Baba ghanoush were fresh and creamy. Since we prefer our food crispy, they customized it for us and even provided a chili sauce on the side. You can also customize your wrap with any sauce from their list. The meal was filling, and we ended with their Baklava dessert, which was sweet and delightfully crispy.
Price: It cost us $25 for two people (2 wraps, 1 vegetarian combo, and 1 dessert). The price is very reasonable for such a tasty and satisfying meal.
Ambience: The place is small, clean, and no-frills, making it ideal for a quick bite or takeaway.
Location and Accessibility:
Public Transportation: The #92 Foster CTA bus stops nearby, and the Red Line’s Bryn Mawr station is a 10-15 minute walk.
Parking: Limited street parking is available (both metered and non-metered), and there are a few paid parking lots nearby.
Overall, it was a fantastic experience, and I’d highly recommend it to anyone craving authentic Middle...

Me and my boyfriend was strolling around on Clark trying to find a new place to tryout. We found Taste of Lebanon 💎, people were literally in line out the door almost. We had no choice to get in line and see what the buzz was about. One of the best decisions we’ve made in a while!
We ordered the Falafel and Lentil Soup for our appetizer. The Lentil Soup was hands down THE BEST we’ve had in Chicago. Everything was balanced and it was superb! The Falafel was delicious even though it was bit overcooked, it also comes with fresh salad. For our entree we ordered only one Chicken Shawarma wrap, after taking one bite from the wrap we realized we made a HUGE MISTAKE by not ordering two wraps! The Chicken Shawarma wrap was so yummy and fresh. For dessert we ordered Baklava which was sweet, nutty, crunchy, flaky and most of all HEAVENLY DELICIOUS! Overall everything was delicious but the lentil soup was the ⭐️ of the show!
The restaurant is small and it’s not a place for a romantic date! But for a quick bite for affordable/cheap price this is the place! Oh BTW our food only came...
