They charged my 12 year old, who was shopping with a friend and without me, an exorbitant price for a cheap piece of costume jewelry (definitely not "artisanal") telling him it was a "great deal" because it was "on sale" - it's not worth half the price he paid, and the whole transaction was sketchy; he paid cash, they seem to have not charged tax, and they didn't give him a receipt. When he tried to return it, he was told they have a "no refunds" policy and was given "store credit," which is a hand-written note on the back of a price tag for some other item. A valuable lesson for him to learn, to avoid stores like this, but a no refunds policy is super-unfriendly to customers (especially when enforced against a child). Certainly guarantees I won't shop there...and I have a lot more buying power...

I love this place! I have never had such good customer service in all of Chicago. I had a ring from here that was slightly deformed, but I didn't notice until the next day. Upon returning, and without question, the clerk replaced the product and guided me to a higher quality piece which is warrantied should any damage be done to it.
