Farraguts on Clark — Restaurant in Lake View Township

I’m definitely not a total fan of this establishment. I have been there a few times, and am continually disappointed in the service/ customer service. I do not tend to find myself enjoying many cash only places, especially when it is not very clearly marked.

It makes no sense to me to take someone’s order, make their drinks, then tell them the establishment is cash only. The only sign that was visible that night was at the front door, in which the front door person was covering. I get it, it was also a very busy weekend for the bar.

So, because I had ordered the drinks already, I used their ATM, (which anyone who knows me knows that I DO NOT pay ATM fees. I then returned to the bar, and the bar tender ignored me. So I went to another one. Needless to say, by the time I was actually served, the first set of drinks had been thrown away and new ones were made. Which is a waste and makes no sense to me. A courteous bartender, (which I did for 5 years, so I know how to be a good one) I would have thought would have noticed me back in line, reach for my cash and give me the drinks. Not sure what the deal was with this chick, but this bar could definitely use some customer...

The only bar to drink on the cheaper side in Andersonville. They have no written menu, you just look at their bottles behind the bar and say your pick. Simple cocktails like whiskey and coke are $10, Patron shots are $9, draft beers are $3-5, canned drinks are also $5. They have no food whatsoever. They have mini bags of chips and nuts for $2 and thats it. They are cash only, there is an atm inside though. There is always a fun crowd in here honestly, the vibes are quite dive like. On Friday and Saturday nights it gets packed, bunch of people end up just standing around with their drinks, no seats. They have a small pool table and darts. We had great fun playing the darts. The bartenders are quite fun people too. Overall this place is a vibe. My only complaint would be maybe that the glasses aren’t particularly clean but then again this...

I started coming here very often love the vibe made some friends here. monica’s awesome very lovely woman . But recently I’ve been having a problem with a bartender (male)who wouldn’t tell me his name but he works Sundays and Mondays. He told me he will always serve me last cause I don’t tip him and the reason is I don’t tip him is because of his service. I end up standing there for more than like five minutes doesn’t acknowledge me and go off and talk to his friends. very rude. and when I tell him we don’t have to argue I just wanted to beer. He wouldn’t serve me a beer because he said he doesn’t work for me. Made the rest of my night....
