I’ve had four custom pieces created by Tina in the past five years: my engagement ring, my wedding band, my husband’s wedding band, and an anniversary ring. Every piece has been aMAZing. My engagement ring design was a surprise from my husband. The only thing I requested was no diamond or stone sticking out (I often swing my hands and arms wildly so I didn’t want to smack a stone against something). Tina incorporated a diamond nearly flush with the ring and you can see through it! Mind blown. I’ve never seen something like it on a ring. My wedding band was complementary to my engagement ring and they fit perfectly. Often, I forget they’re two separate rings. For my husband’s wedding band, I gave Tina a mood board of circuit boards since he’s into technology. She did a subtle and modern design in the band and filled it with black so it pops against the silver color. Lastly, I was gifted ruby gems and asked Tina to use them for a ring. She noted that the gems would be great in a design she was already playing with and incorporated similar aesthetics from my engagement and wedding rings. They all go together! Tina’s vision comes through beautifully in what she creates. She’s first and foremost interested in what YOU want or are looking for. She offers ideas that are backed by her years of craft and experience. She will also consider your budget and continue to fine-tune the design until everyone is happy. You absolutely cannot go wrong!

Working with Tina at Tytin Jewelry has hands-down been one of the best decisions we have made throughout our engagement and wedding planning process! She is an absolute joy to work with and brought to the table incredible levels of expertise, kindness, patience, and creativity! Not to mention that her work is just genuinely gorgeous and well-made. She truly made this such a special experience for us! As someone who is going through this process for the first time, Tina was exactly the kind of person who we hoped (and needed) to be working with. At our initial meeting she clearly laid out the process and what to expect, she remained highly responsive throughout the design process, and did a great job of keeping to our aligned budget. Perhaps what most impressed me, however, was her ability to capture abstract and incomplete thoughts of mine and incorporate them into the final ring design. She somehow managed to capture the essence of both me and my partner in the ring and I couldn't be happier about it. She was an absolute pleasure to work with and a true professional and expert. I will 100% be recommending her to anyone I can.

We found Tina through a thorough search of local designers and absolutely made the best choice to work with her. We designed my engagement ring over the course of almost a year. Tina was patient and accommodating when we had to put things on hold for some time. Once we were ready to get back on track it was quick and easy to pick back up where we left off. Her understanding and care was genuine and underscored our choice to work with her. We worked with my grandmother's antique ring to incorporate some of those stones into our ring. Tina took the utmost care and found a way to take my non-traditional style into account with a traditional set of stones and make it a truly unique and authentic ring for me. We could not have been happier with the process and results. We are excited to start designing our bands to go along with it!

5/5 stars, hands down. We came across Tina at the Logan Square Arts Festival where she had a booth setup showcasing her beautiful jewelry pieces. We explained that we were getting married later this year and wanted to custom design a ring together with some stones we had inherited. She was extremely warm, inviting, and made us feel comfortable with the idea of collaborating on something together. We took her business card and after exploring more about her business and background in the industry, we decided she was the perfect person for the job. We setup a consultation a few weeks later at her studio, where we discussed our wants, our likes, our dislikes, our aesthetic and design taste - I had never designed a piece of jewelry before and didn’t really know exactly what I wanted, so the process seemed very overwhelming at first. Tina made us feel comfortable and assured at every step of the journey. She asked for a ‘mood board’ to get an idea of my personal vibe and aesthetic - I also found this process fun and it helped me hone in on what I like. Tina also helped us source a few stones to pair with our family heirloom stone - she was very fast, provided lots of options in our price range, and went multiple rounds in sourcing until we could decide which stones we liked best. Once we landed on the stones, she then took us into design phase. This was by far my favorite part, as we really got a sense of what the ring was going to look like. This was also the part that required lots of patience by Tina, as I changed my mind several times and asked LOTS of questions. She was VERY responsive, always addressed my questions by providing several different renderings so I could decide what I liked best, explained the process for WHY the design of the ring was a specific way, and was EXTREMELY collaborative. Once we finally landed on a design, she then started the production process. We were on a tight timeline to get the rings (we also made gold bands) in time for the wedding, but she was able to keep us on track and delivered the rings in time! When I finally saw the rings for the first time, I was floored. They were more beautiful than I ever could have imagined. They matched the renderings perfectly but even more gorgeous IRL. I’m so grateful we found Tina and worked with her to create such special rings to honor our commitment in marriage. If anyone is looking to design a custom wedding ring or any piece of jewelry, I would HIGHLY recommend Tina. She is amazing at what she does and creates beautiful works of art. She handled with such care, attention to detail and provided the authentic, one-of-kind touch we were looking for. Absolutely...
