My husband has had a Kohl's charge forever! I am on the card forever. I happened to not have the card and I went in there today for the first time in years because they always send us coupons .... I'm in there walking around and I pick up what I thought are a few little things that were either on clearance or they were cheap. The woman who called me to the register.... She actually didn't call me and she admitted that she basically grunted or whistled or something. So after everything is added up even with the 30% off coupon which you're only allowed to use one but they send you six different kind, anyway... She couldn't find me n't in the system or on his card and I have his phone number, I have his social security number, but she insisted on putting mine in. The total still came out to $100 even after the 30% off and I didn't understand that either, so she proceeded to explain to me that most of the stuff that I picked up was not eligible for coupons. Like I said, I got mostly $9.99 items or clearance items. So they misinform their shoppers, they try to trick you into thinking you're getting a deal by using your stupid card, and they never have anything good. So then I asked her if I could get the stuff held until I could come back cuz I really did want the birds and I had a couple silly little things for my husband for his stocking so she bagged everything up and loudly walked me over to customer service where there was a line handed the woman behind the counter. My bag of items that she told me she would hold for me for 24 hours but then she pointed at me and said the the woman with the blue t-shirt on in the back of the line would like these items held for her. She's waiting. She's the last one in line and everyone turned around to look at me đł I know she did it on purpose because of the whole. Can't find you on your husband's Kohl's card thing. She made me feel like I was trying to get over on her or like I was a lie to her. I will never ever ever going to Kohl's and I will tell everyone I know about how I was treated. We honestly don't even like the place. But we hold on to the card...
Read moreIf you are looking for business attire, you can find some of it here. If you are plus size and don't want to look frumpy, don't bother unless you are coming for another reason. Kohls clearly thinks we all have zero fashion sense. I would like to remind Kohls that this location is in central Florida. We get about a weeks worth of winterish weather once a year. Please provide options that are not sweaters or long sleeved year-round for us. Kohls has some neat toy options for kids. Their prices run similar to everywhere else for toys and this section is worth a peek. Their Toddler and Infant boy section is pretty pathetic. They cater specifically to little girls. But if you have a little girl, its a good place to shop for cute clothes. Their home goods section is decent. But it is a lot pricier than Walmart and Amazon. However, they sometimes have good sales and you can snag an acceptable price at those times.
Suggestions for Kohls: Consider weather and location when ordering for a store. We really don't need all sweaters in Florida whether its Winter or not. Consider moving underwear and sock displays closer to the foot traffic rather than in the back to decrease theft of those items. When I went they were all open and things were everywhere. Some were missing. Plus size women want cute clothes too and maybe even athetic-wear as well. Like me, I'm working on myself but I still want to look cute while I do it. Please get with the times and find someone that can order for your plus-size customer base. I'll be happy to help. Baby boys and toddler boys can be cute too. There are lots of moms out there that would be thrilled with a store stocking cute items for their little guys as most seem to forget that little boys need clothes too. I can help with that as well....
Read moreI would like to just take a minute out of my day to tell you about the WORST customer service experience I have ever had. That being said, I've had some pretty bad experiences. Being a frequent shopper, is the ONLY reason I am actually taking the time to actually send an email about this experience.... First of all, if something is marked down it shouldn't be our responsibility, as a customer, to try and figure out what the cost is... there should be some form of a tag or something on there. Secondly, if you don't want to take the time to do it, when a customer walks up to your register and asks for a price on maybe one or two items, you shouldn't be rude about it.. Which is where this whole email comes into play. I decided I wanted to get two items that were on the sale rack, of which neither had a marked down price. When I walked up to the cashier who had not one person in line or anyone even coming towards her register, she practically rudely stated "Ummm how many items because thats what a price checker is for..." In which she was right, but isn't that her job too? I mean... shoot me if i'm wrong, but as a cashier aswell if a customer walks up to me and asks for a price, you know what I'm "suppose" to do? GIVE THE CUSTOMER A PRICE... However the price checker was out of service and so she sent me to the men section pretty much to get a price. In that instant I realized two things,1. you lost a $60-$80 sale, and 2. I will no longer be shopping at Kohls... or atleast that one anyways. The next closest Kohls is nearly an hour away... so I guess there goes my...
