My family has been going to this establishment for the last five years. My son enjoys the games, and many of his friends have celebrated birthdays here. Multiple times, I have gone and taken my nephew with us, and I was never told that there was a charge to go into the room that has the slides/ball pens or that it required a wristband. Today, my husband took my son and was approached in a very demeaning way by the manager. He was told that he stealing because it cost $8.00, and my son needed a wristband. We have no problem paying the $8.00, but for a manager to approach a parent and my son in this matter, I was applauded. It's not about the money but about not having good customer service and then approaching someone in a rude and defensive manner when they ask a question. When did this policy change? My family stayed because we had promised my son he could go. Being a Director for a corporate organization, customer service plays a role in your establishment. After entering the door, my husband did find the sign, and as I stated prior, we have no problem paying, but this could have been handled in a more respectful way.
Rebuttal to the poor reply given from the owner: I am the husband in question My son was with me and I do not curse in front of my son. I reached out to several friends who we have gone to your establishment with over the years and only one of them said they paid for this area and it was only once and as they said normally it's a bunch of young kids working there and they never charge which is a training issue and not my issue. They were not surprised by what happened either because of what they have witnessed from your older staff members in the past. The majority of your reviews both decent and poor ones address your management's lack of professionalism and their poor attitudes specifically the manager in question. So while I understand taking up for your employees it seems you turn a blind eye to their behavior. So your response or lack of one was expected because it seems like this is how you often reply to these concerns. I'm sure NO ONE AT ALL came up to your staff about my behavior because it was the middle of the week and there were literally 2 people in the entire front portion and they were bowling and secondly one of your staff came to me and said they were sorry because you all just started posting those signs and enforcing said fee even though it was in place people had not been charging like they should have.
It's your establishment and your rules 8.00 was not the issue as even we thought it odd you didn't charge but then again that's not our issue. But if you are going to lie at least make it a believable lie. Best of luck with your establishment and maybe one day you will learn what true customer service is. It's not that the customer is always right but that they at least feel heard and...
Read moreLast year I would have highly recommended the bowl n bounce for parties but their management has changed or something. I booked a combo party and asked for a private room online when I made the booking. If that was going to be a problem they should have contacted me right after I made the booking to tell me I couldn’t have the room. (I made the reservation a long time ago) I emailed them a week ahead of my party to confirm my resevation and make sure I could come before they opened to set up my party table before guests arrived. (They gave me a private room the year before for my combo party and allowed me to come 10-15 early before they opened). So I didn’t think I was asking for anything extraordinary. They emailed me back to confirm my party but said I couldn’t have a private room because they don’t use them for combo parties (even though combo is more expensive than just a bounce party ???) and I couldn’t come before 11 because they don’t open until 11. They offered for me to drop my things on Saturday and they would put them out, but I didn’t trust that since they don’t close until 1 am on a Saturday and I didn’t know what time they would put my things out in the middle of the place for anyone to mess with, so I didn’t do that, and I’m glad I didn’t since when we Arrived they didn’t even have the tables pushed together for my party or set up at all. To top it all off, the 2 private rooms they have were completely empty and unused the entire 3 hours we were there so there is no reason we couldn’t have used one. Instead I had to leave my mom with our table while the kids bounced for an hour in order to keep the rowdy kids at the party tables next to us off our cake and decorated table. I emailed them after the party to express my irritation and I got a reply back that I can arrive 7 minutes before they open but I can’t have the private room....like I hadn’t had my party yet and they barely read the email. So basically, they don’t care about you as a customer and don’t even take the time to look at the reservation book. I think they have a bunch of high school kids up there and no one really managing what needs to be managed. I’m disappointed because it’s 5 min away and I would have used them every year...
Read moreWhole place smells like dookie. I’m being serious and not trying to be funny. The restrooms are still out of order years later. The air is toxic filled with feces fumes. Most of the games don’t work at all. I’m honestly disappointed in this place. They used to be a great place for families to enjoy . Honestly after years of your restroom being out of service and games being down all the time. (while still somehow operating )you guys should have been able to afford to fix both of these issues by now. I’m going to report this to the Better Business Bureau to make sure you respond to these issues because you don’t respond to anybody else’s issues on their Google reviews. I am going to take it as you guys do not care about creating a safe, breathing place for the children.
UPDATE TO YOUR RESPONSE :Feces smell means customers are breathing in fecal matter. That is an issue no matter how you spin it. Of course, the South Carolina Dept of health has a lower standards than the North Carolina Department of health. If the owner has yet to respond to this issue, after literally over a year of these restrooms being closed, that means the owner DOES NOT CARE ENOUGH. To take care of this issue. The owner cares more about their golfing time instead of what actually goes on inside of their establishment. Of course the owner does not want to redirect any money away from their golfing. You guys are the ones who decided to knock down walls and expand your establishment which makes you responsible for the safety of each and every guest. If you supposedly don’t own those restrooms, then they shouldn’t be a part of your establishment. The air fresheners you claim pumping in fresh air are not working at all. Let’s not play the blame game and get it taken care of. Lastly, you are not the owner as you have stated. You shouldn’t be replying as the owner leave that to the owner that has yet to get to this issue that has been there for literally almost 2 years or more if I’m not mistaken. I do not have to meet with you in order for you to correct this...
