Yesterday I wasted 3 hours of my day to trying to make a wall calendar online and after number of unsuccessful attempts, the pictures on my phone still didn't upload on Walgreen's website. I have a newborn baby and do not have time to keep wasting like this and need help to make the calendar as fast as possible. Today I decided to go to Walgreen's on Rand Rd and Miller Rd to get assistance at the store. Unfortunately the associate at the photo department was unwilling to assist me, said that they are self service and don't help customers. I also asked if they can match 60% off online coupon. She was unwilling at first, but when I asked for a manager, they agreed to, but she still refused to help me to do the calendar. Even basic pointers she refused to do! I don't know how it all works at that kiosk and since I can't spend all day at Walgreen's trying to figure it out, because I have a little baby at home, I had to leave... Even Manager Darren Wagner said they are "not going to stand there with customers for hours to do calendars", because they are trying to do "social distancing". So now they refuse to work using Covid excuse and refuse to do the very thing they are there for! Why are they even there if they are not willing to assist customers? Terrible customer service!!! It is also simple to check in; they were on time for my appointment and there was no line to wait in. If you are uncomfortable being vaccinated in public or behind a curtain, they have closed booths available for you to use. However, in some instances, they have failed to have medication in stock despite the fact that the prescription was called in with notice that was far greater than the time required to obtain the medication. Also, one of the people I encountered while walking through the establishment did not wear a face mask, which makes me concerned for the health of those who will enter. Read moreI need a passport photo so I called the store at about 6:15. I was told they close at 7 so they couldn't do it. I assumed they had thought I would be in after 7 and that is why they said that.
I told them I was 15 minutes away and asked if if I was there by 6:30 could they do it. They said "Oh ok, come on in". I got there at 6:25 and right as I walked up to the counter they put up the sign "Closed, no more passport photos". I explained I had just called and they said it was ok to come in. The response, "We close at 7 and I I have closing duties, just come back tomorrow".
Nope, I will go to CVS.
