I am so happy with The Auberge at Lake Zurich. The entire staff has shown nothing but kindness and compassion. They go above and beyond to make this place feel like home and to care for your loved one. The sales director, Andrea, helped me immensely at the very start of this process and she continues to do whatever she can to assist. The caregivers, nurses, housekeepers and chefs take the time to get to know the families and they always make us feel welcome. It is a cheerful environment that is always very clean. This facility is extremely inadequate; avoid placing your loved one here if you want proper care. The neglect is alarming—there are no showers, no diaper changes, and no assessments of changes in condition, especially for those exhibiting dementia symptoms.
