Journeys — Local services in Lakeland

Called yesterday because I was looking for a pair of women’s’ Ugg ultraminis in a very popular and sold out color in my size. I called multiple places and malls and none to be found. Spoke to Kendall who was the only one to ever suggest maybe getting the shoe in a kid’s size that’s equivalent to women’s that they had in stock in the color I wanted. She was so super helpful and friendly on the phone! Told her I’d be in today (next day) to try them on and see if they worked out. We arrived and were greeted immediately and I told her I’d called the day before about the shoes. I didn’t even need to say much more or remind her of the shoe I’d wanted and the size…she remembered immediately and went right to the stock room to find them. Needless to say I walked out with the shoes I wanted and a very happy customer. TOP NOTCH customer service and she went above and beyond making sure I had the right fit and was happy. She was simply the sweetest and such fun to chat with. You’ve got a great employee working here! You can tell she really likes and cares about her job and her customers. 12/2 I ordered online, wore them for two days, they where too big. I just wanted to exchange them for a smaller size, manager on duty was in the back, and came out with no hello, dropped the box on the counter and said,"yeah you can't get a refund, these are ruined and dirty." I said "okay I can clean them I have my emailed receipt, I just need to exchange the size", then he said" no we don't accept online receipts!" Then just glared at me WTH, anyways don't go to this journeys. I even wanted to buy the right size and sell my old ones on eBay but absolutely not. My daughter and I were at the Journey's store at Lakeside Village last Friday night. We were greeted and helped by the most friendly and helpful young woman, "Essence". She went above and beyond to meet my daughter's needs and while at it she also talked me into buying a pair for myself. Eventhough, the shoe my daughter wanted was not available at the store or online. She went above and beyond to help her find another pair and had her tried different sizes to make sure what we ordered would be the right fit. I like to also acknowledge that while helping us, she was very aware of every customer that would walk into the store and made sure to greet them and to tell them to ask for help if needed.
