FYE — Local services in Lakeland

I hadn't been inside a FYE store in ages, and while I hold nothing against the employees there, as I didn't have enough interaction with them to really judge, but the pricing and choice of items... Especially when it came to new items like backpacks/figurines/etc., they had the same items available elsewhere in the same mall for as much as 50-75% less. I saw some for $29.99 that were available for $15-19.99, and even one smaller one that I had JUST looked at not 10 minutes prior at another store for $9.99, so I'd recommend shopping around if you're looking for something new. On the used Blu-Ray/DVD etc. side they do have a very large selection, with decent prices on the ones I checked out, about what you'd expect used, and they are laid out nicely. Again, if you're willing to search just a little bit or wait for online shipping times, there are cheaper prices, but at least the few I checked out weren't egregiously marked up, but about what you'd expect. $4-7 on a lot of them at the time. (To be fair, I also tend to look at less common/more obscure films, so I can't speak as to the deal on the Marvel/DC level ones. Didn't see anything too...

This store is highly overpriced. They have many items, like candies and toys, that are sold at the Asian market for a quarter of the cost. They have some sales on tshirts that make it worth popping in a couple of times a year though. Last time I went, they asked me if I wanted to sign up for some something. I didn’t really listen, because I always say no anyway. Apparently, they signed me up anyway. I noticed a weird charge on my account, and went looking. They had been charging me $12 a month for some stupid VIP thing that I said no too, if they even asked. Over $100 in charges later, they refused to do anything about it, besides stopping future charges. This was 100% done without my consent. Wonderful store, wonderful staff. They are very friendly and very professional and helpful . I usually go to another fye but that one is small compared to this one . This store was huge and had lots of items . I picked up some movies and my friend came with me and grabbed some stuff as well . Me and my friend are both youtubers so it was very nice 👍 that the store manger let us film 🎞 and vlog in there . We also got a few pics inside the store. I will say there is no bathroom 🚽 in the store or around it. But it’s inside a mall and they have bathrooms around . The indie of the store was clean and neat and orderly . They have music 🎵, movies 🎥 nerd and geek 🤓 stuff, really just have a bit of everything here. I would totally recommend this store . Check it out for yourself because I loved ❤️ the store
