YOU WOULD THINK CONNECTING TO THE INTERNET WITH THIS BED WOULD BE EASY. IF SO, THINK AGAIN!
I wish I didnt have to write this but I am left with no choice. We recently bought this bed because my wife's Chiropractor recommended it for her because she used to complain about hip pain and feeling like its dislocated in the mornings. We went to sleep Number and we bought the C4 bed.
THE GOOD:
The sales rep was nice, in fact we were sold on the following things:The Sleep IQ, The underbed lighting and The Responsive Air technology- which all uses internet connection to send and receive data while you sleep. Case in point, if you turn while you sleep, it will automatically adjust to your new position, thus giving you comfortable night's sleep.
THE BAD
Sad to say, these features were short-lived. I've change the router and everything in our house has been reconnected to the internet EXCEPT THE BED. I'v called sleep number about this several times and either I was told they were busy or they will get back to me. I happen to get a lady and she sent a new pump and said that should fix the connectivity issue. she told me its pretty straight forward so I shouldn't have any issues. I've installed the new pump and I am STILL NOT ABLE TO CONNECT THE BED TO THE INTERNET!
NO REAL SUPPORT- AT LEAST IN MY CASE.
At this point I am just paying for an overpriced normal bed because all the the things we bought the bed for, we have absolutely no access to because the bed will not connect to the internet and NO ONE IS AVAILABLE TO HELP. It is useless to try to call the number provided because it is a waste of time. I've called more than 40 times combined from different phone numbers-SAME...
Read morena Rosario I am not happy either. Just got mattress delivered yesterday. The base is cheap made and remote randomly works, then didn't work. Bed only operates off app. so if issues with your wifi, app working on phone, or issues with the app ( keeps saying something went wrong) you can NOT adjust your sleep number setting. We bought all the mattress protectors, sheets, and pillow case cover that is suppose to keep need cool enough to sleep. Woke up to hot to sleep and our a/c is set on 70. I guess that's why sleep number site says you should sleep with your house temperature between 66-68. Called customer service and that's when the real issues began. Total call time was over 2 hours. First lady kept putting me on hold to ask the "tech. team" then hung up on me. She called me right back to let me know she was trying to get me transferred to somebody that could better help me. Lady named Shavita answered with an attitude and her opening greeting was "what you need". I was explaining the 1st issue to her and asked if she was there and she said, " waiting for you if you would come on with it". At that point I asked to talk to somebody else. She hung up on me. Next call the guy was nice but told us he couldn't help us we have to call the supervisors line. In less then 3 minutes got hung up on twice by 2 different supervisors with NO call back. Then finally a supervisor that had customer service skills and helped us. Everything is going back because I am not dealing with this kind of customer service if something else goes wrong. Read moreCustomers beware!!!! My wife and I recently purchased a sleep number package along with pillows and a mattress cover. We are enjoying the bed so far but I would warn all potential customers to be aware of some of their bad policies and shady customer service. When and if you are making a purchase be very clear with your salesperson about what you are getting with your purchase. My wife and I were more than a bit disappointed when our bed arrived and there was no frame even though the receipt says, "King Integrated Base." $3500 and no base. When my wife called to speak with our salesman, he basically blew her off. We later learned that 3 other customers from the same store on the same days had the exact same issue. That seems a little shady to me!!! So, we also decided after thinking about things that we wouldn't keep their $200 pillows when they arrived. Note: even though they are unopened ans still in the original package, the pillows cannot be returned. So, again please get TOTAL CLARITY from your salesperson on what you getting and ALL of their policies because it will not be made clear unless you ask all the questions!!!
