Experience was not what I was hoping for at lakeville, liquors, on kendrick. What I found was that one of the three employees that were on the floor were helpful. And what I mean by by that is that the employee that was helpful showed me exactly and told me exactly where to find the items I wanted to purchase. However, the other staff was not helpful. They were very busy doing their own things which didn't include helping customers. Uh had to go back and get something else.Because some of their drinks can only be purchased with cash as opposed to credit. So I had to use the atm and take a four dollar service charge on the a t m. Which basically is a four dollar extra tax that goes right into the pockets of the business. Kind of a gouge, actually a huge price gouge, not cool. And lastly, and finally, uh, I couldn't, you know, I wasn't able to, you know, I used the cart when I need to do it, exchange the item, they told me. I had to leave my cart at the door and I had to carry on my stuff back to where I was going to make an exchange.I was exchanging out one drink for a different drink. But the ultimate ultimate slap in the face was literally ringing me up and then not being willing to give me a bag or offer a bag for my products that I purchased. And in alignment with that, I would say that, uh, not only didn't they give me a bag until I asked for one. They just set the bag on the um, On the counter, rather than uh, opening it up and bagging my several items, which I had seen them do for other customers. So it was a bit put off that I was refused that service. First time shopper and last time shopper, don't think I will be going back to to that kind of service. Definitely there are other options out there in this area to shop at. I would recommend going into any of the other Liquor stores in this area and try avoiding this one due to uh, just uh, inconsistent and a total lack of...
Read moreIt's a nice store. Clean, new. They just don't have a super good selection of craft beers or single beer bottles. It's a lot of the same stuff over and over and that you can find in every other liquor store. I've been looking for a place that has different types of beers to try, not the same old IPAs. Very small selection of stouts. Prices are also pretty high. The same four pack for Founders Porter I bought at an independently owned liquor store two weeks ago for 8.99 was 10.99 here. The coolers have beer and then there is a half aisle of beer. There maybe an aisle and a half or two of wine and then everything else is liquor. Looks like if that's what you're looking for you would have a good selection. The woman at the checkout seemed to hate her job. She was super short with the guy in front of me and me. I even had my ID and cash ready to go but it just seemed like I was inconveniencing her or wasting her time. If I'm in a hurry and need regular beer I'll probably run in here, but this will not be my...
Read moreI've been on the hunt for wine from a small Wisconsin winery that’s nearly impossible to find, and this is the only place that carries it. The staff was incredibly helpful and even excited when I told them how much I love this wine. I ended up buying an entire case, and I couldn’t be happier.
If you're a fan of supporting local or unique products, this is the spot to go. Their selection is thoughtfully curated, and their commitment to carrying hard-to-find gems like this shows they really care about their customers. I’ll definitely be coming back!
