We have frequented this location for over 10 years , more times than I can count .We liked the previous management. They knew how to treat and please the customer. He treated everyone like a friend. Last night we went there and there was 5 of us. There always was a group of us. We enjoyed being there but last night we sure didn't. Come to find out there is a new owner. It began to look like a dump. The place wasn't kept up as far as cleanliness. Here are the things we had a complaint we have: we had a punch card which the said they no longer accept which we had earned because we had came there frequently. The pop machine was delivering awful tasting liquid which was supposed to be pop. It wasn't soda it was flavored water with a chemical taste. all we had to eat our food with was sporks. How do you eat jell-o with a fork.. the place looked abandoned and looked like it had closed when we drove up because any advertising or announcement that was there , was ripped off the door windows. There was nothing to tell us what your hours were, etc.. 5.The floor was slippery and greasy looking . As a matter it was so bad my granddaughter slipped and fell. 6.The soap dispenser in the bathroom was laying in the sink broken instead of hanging on the wall broken apart. Most people like to wash their hands while in the restaurant including myself and my family. The bathroom for ladies faucet never completely shut off . There was a steady stream of water running. There were camera's all over the place and it made you feel like a criminal. some of the employee's didn't know what they were doing. It took 2 people to help one person. That took about 10 minutes while we stood there and waited as well as people who were behind us who were also disgusted. These employee's were not trained very well or at all. Just by looking around you can tell what kind of person owns this place. The staff I will say were quite nice and tried their best. It looked like they had to...
Read moreMy Grandchildren and myself had not eaten since breakfast 8:00 a.m. It was 3:00 p.m. I had to pass a KFC in order to bring my youngest Granddaughter home. It was 90 degrees outside. I asked my Grandchildren if we went to KFC do they promise to eat it. The response was unanimous yes. So I pulled a u-turn. We went inside. The restaurant was cool, clean, and amazingly efficient. Our order was brought to our tables. The chicken was fresh, hot, and moist and very tasty. The coleslaw was fresh and crisp and clean (by clean I mean that the dressing was fresh). We had mashed potatoes and gravy which all the kids loved. They dipped their chicken and biscuits into the mashed potatoes and gravy. We had a half gallon container of lemonade. The container reminded me of the wine skin bags of my youth. Very Cool and reusable. Not all KFC stores are the same. This one in Lakeville is...
Read moreWe used to enjoy the variety on the buffet. Went today, the restaurant temp was cold, and low customer service. I took my potty training daughter to the restroom, and when washing her hands, she was almost scalded with the steaming water coming out of the tap. There is no way for a customer to adjust the water temp. I pull her hands out still covered in soap, and wiped them off with my sweater. She was screaming. No concern from any of the staff, dispute me standing at the counter with a screaming child. My husband had to threaten to call 911 before anyone even mentioned it to the manager. We only got an apology from corporate when we called them. The store manager checked the restroom, but left the water still coming steaming out the tap. No signage or anything. We will not be going back. My child's safety is...
