This studio was not very newcomer friendly. From the initial walk-in, I was not greeted, acknowledged, or directed in the right direction. I had to interrupt the front desk lady from her personal conversation to ask where I needed to go as it was not clear. She completely dismissed me the first time and when I said IM NEW HERE then she apologized to her friend and led me to the hidden back corner of the gym where the class was. That was a very sour start. The instructor was nice but also didn’t take the time to ask if I had any restrictions or anything to give alternative workouts that would be a better fit. Every other studio I’ve gone to has always asked so my personal workouts could be tailored to me. She directed me to the weights and that was pretty much it. I wanted to like this studio because it’s so close to my home but I will choose good service over convenience any day when it comes to working out. I did not feel welcomed and would not try this place again nor would I recommend it. There are soooo many better options in Austin that are more impactful...

Very clean gym, well kept gym, not too crowded usually, it’s a smaller gym, the barbells are horrible because of the hexagonal grip, it’s uncomfortable to use and if you lift anything heavier than 300 pounds its unbearably uncomfortable. Decent dumb bell set, goes up to around 100 lbs, nice cable machines, lockeroom is very nice however a bit small, decent amount of cardio machines. My biggest issue with the gym is the barbell, it’s the most critical lifting piece in the gym besides plates, and it’s really disappointing. Also the squat rack is way to wide for the bars, you have to precisely rack the weight and it gives you about an inch in total of leeway. And when you are racking 400 hundred pounds on your back, it’s really unsafe. This also effects the safety guards, i one time tried to use them and the plates hit one side of the safety guards and I had 4 plates in each side of the bar, if I didn’t have someone spotting me it could’ve ending badly. Really miss this gym! Great price for a family membership, clean equipment and facility, and never too busy where you can’t get a workout in. The staff staff is very friendly and helpful. Had to cancel membership after years due to a change in location and haven’t found a comparable one since. Would give 5 stars if they had...
