Update: Iâve been a regular customer at Cho for 2 years. I used to do take out once a week. Tonight I called at 6:41pm and was told that my order would take about 45-60 minutes to be ready. I called at 7:26pm to make sure my order was ready before heading over and they said they never put the order in but they would put it in and make it a priority. He told me to come in 25 minutes. I arrived at 8:05pm. There were a group of people by the door. I walked in and I was asking if the people standing around had been helped and they were all saying they were waiting for their to go order. Then two ladies walked in and were helped and sat down. I told Michael (the young man at the front) that I had been waiting there for 10 minutes waiting for him to help me. I told him I called in an order. I gave him my payment. He came back and said my order wasnât ready. Then the lady in front of me got her order I asked her how long ago did she place her order and she said 45 mins. At 8:30pm my order still wasnât ready I asked to speak to the manager. I watched him walk to the manager and the manager told him. âIâm too busyâ this poor young man walked over to tell me that the manager was too busy to come speak to me. I just told him I will come back for a refund and asked for my signed slip back. While I was waiting I spoke to a couple people who said that they feel like the service is going downhill.
Iâm leaving my old review because I still think the food is great. I definitely wonât be back because I feel like my business isnât appreciated.
5âď¸=Iâm a fan and coming back with friends
I love this place!! I probably eat at Cho 3-4 times a month because I love their sushi and it reminds me of a place at home.
The food is great. I highly recommend the Monster rolls, shrimp tempura rolls, spicy tuna rolls, spicy crab rolls and the veggie rolls (not sure the name).
I also like the calamari and spicy tuna tacos.
The price is a little on the higher end but you get what you pay for. The fish is fresh and I have only had minor issues when I have done take out. So make sure you check the bag before you leave for take out orders.
Their happy hour is pretty decent. You can save a little by going during that time.
Over all I recommend you go and...
Read moreVery small dining area. First time at this sushi restaurant to meet up with a friend to catch up. Arrived at 7pm on a very cold and damp night. Hostess wanted to seat us at a table literally right by the door at the entrance. Every time the door opened a wet cold breeze would have hit us. No thank you. There were at least 7 other tables to choose from. I politely asked for another table away from the door. She then set up in a cozy nook by the bar. I then needed to use the restroom and was dismayed to find that there was only 1 for Females and 1 for Males and of course the Female's was occupied. Waited for about 4 minutes and a waitress from the restaurant finally came out. Back at the table we enjoyed our appetizer and ordered 2 delicious sushi rolls to share. The Steiner Ranch was our favorite. As we were deciding on what roll to order next, our waiter appeared and asked if we'd like dessert. When we told him we were going to order another roll, he said "ok, but then I'm going to bring you your bill because my shift is ending." Ummm, what?? It was now around 7:50p. Ohhhhkay. We finished our roll and drinks and another waitress made sure our water glasses were filled. Before leaving we both needed to use the ladies room before going home. My friend went first and after 5 minutes of waiting, used the mens restroom! I then got up and waited another 3-4 minutes and lo and behold another waitress came out with her phone in her hand and it was still on. Apparently she was taking a 10 minute phone break in the only ladies restroom they had.đ Nice little place but I will...
Read moreI went 2 days in a row and unlikely to come back. The service the first time was at lunch time. I have some allergies and they struggled a little bringing a salad with onion in it after telling them I couldn't have onions. However, the following evening was a disaster. Our waiter, whose name begins with T and ends in R provdided the worst service I've experienced in a while. We had a free appetizer due to the previous reservation. I explained I can't eat garlic and onion and asked if he could let me know if I could eat it. He brought it without commentary. So I mistakenly assumed I could. Then my food took a really long time, not even coming at the same time as my son's. My first dish came with onions on it and had to me remade. I asked where my other dish was. I was dismissed saying it was coming. We had finished eating everything and it still hasn't arrived so I said I wanted to cancel it. Another member of the service staff apologized and said OK. Our waiter then brought it, to which I explained I had canceled the order as we were done eating. He looked shocked and replied in a sarcastic tone. Well that's awesome. He practically threw the bill at me and then called after us in a snide tone have a great night as we left. I wouldn't mind, but he paid us no attention after I told him about the allergies, but seemed surprised that our experience was bad and in any...
