The ordering process was very easy! My items were supposed to ship 7 days ago, however I have not yet heard anything from the shipping company or received any tracking info from Park Ave or the shipping company. I tried calling the shipping company today and was unable to reach them. They did not call back after I left my phone number as requested. I was told by our salesman that it would take 2-3 weeks to receive our appliances. I’ll update this review once I receive.
Update: My items did not get to the shipping company until 2.5 weeks AFTER my items were purchased and fully paid for. I made the purchase when I was told it would take 2-3 weeks for delivery. It has now been 3.5 weeks and AM Home Delivery tells me it will be at least another 1.5 - 2 weeks for possible delivery since next week is a western VA delivery week and I’m in the eastern VA delivery area. And that was after I waited on hold for an hour to speak to someone. Unfortunately, Park Ave Appliance hasn’t responded to phone calls either. I saved a few hundred dollars and was ok with 2-3 weeks for that. I’m NOT ok with 5-6 weeks (assuming that’s when my products arrive).
2nd Update: I received my range on 10/12/20 which was 5 weeks after it was ordered. When my husband and I went to install, we noticed significant damage that was not visible when unpacked (it was under the film). We spoke to Park Ave App (Eli) on 10/18/20. We also spoke to Customer Service on the 19th. They were very accommodating and stated they would send out a replacement right away. It’s now 11/5/20 and I’m once again dealing with the worst delivery company I have ever had to do business with. I get a different story every time I call. It takes over an hour to even get through to someone at AM Home Delivery. They think I may be scheduled by the end of next week. So I got a good deal but after 8.5 weeks still do not have a range to use. I don’t recommend if you have to have the appliance delivered by AM Home Delivery. Read moreI just had the best experience a person could hope to have with buying an appliance. I wanted a specific make and model of a refrigerator that came out this year. It isn't easy to find in stock so I ordered it from a big box retailer with an estimated 8-10 week wait. When our renovations were near completion 10 weeks later, I called for an update. After being placed on hold for 30 minutes, I was told it would be another 8-10 weeks. I placed a 2nd order with another big box store who claimed it would arrive in 2 weeks but then quickly added on another 3 weeks. I searched online, again, and luckily Park Ave Appliance appeared as having this refrigerator in stock. I wasn't expecting this to be true, but reached out to them on Friday morning. I was immediately connected to a knowledgeable, helpful and pleasant representative named Effy, who confirmed the fridge was in stock, at a price that beat the other two stores by a few hundred dollars, and could be delivered first thing Monday morning. I couldnt believe what I was hearing and placed the order even though this seemed too good to be true. First thing this morning (Monday) I received a call that the fridge would be arriving in 20 minutes, and it did, in perfect condition. The gentlemen who delivered it did an amazing job cautiously getting through our narrow doorways and handling some tricky tight turns and they were so courteous and professional. Park Avenue Appliance offered one of the most competitive rates for the range I wanted.I made purchase online, however 13 days later I hadn't received any requests to schedule delivery. I called the store to inquire about my purchase. I was advised that my purchase might have been automatically rejected because the billing address and shipping address differed. The rep requested that I email pictures of my credit card, drivers license and any support indicating my current and future address. I complied, I called back to confirm receipt of my email. This new rep seemed to be helpful enough until a comment about the fact I had an out of state license that didnt match my current address, his exact words "whow... what's up with that". I advised him that if additional proof was need to prove my identity I will do so. I even offered to go in store to provide this info, otherwise I could take my business elsewhere. I received a call back from original rep stating that their fraud department couldn't approve the transaction because my name didn't match the name on my credit card (I have a hyphenated last name) so my only options was to pay cash or cancel. I advised the rep that I could provide my marriage certificate to show the reason for the difference. Needless to say I canceled my purchase. Terrible experience but the silver lining is I found the same item for hundreds less. All is well...
