Roger Thompson is a wonderful and creative man and gifted jeweler / goldsmith. His ideas for my wife's engagement ring: my question to him, his answer to me. "Roger, what do you think about rectangular emerald cut baguettes straddling the center round diamond?" His answer, after brief thought, "Dave how about we cut these emerald cut rectangles into trapezoids positioned to follow the lines of the setting/band?"
