My family and I drove 20 miles to visit the river pool. We wanted to do something different for the holiday weekend. Upon getting there we left, we noticed it was cash only so we returned with cash, but we’re not notified of the policy of Coast Guard floating devices. I have a 7 and and six-year-old and none of them swim well. We brought little floaty wings for them to swim in. Upon notification we decided to leave and ask for a refund since we were not swimming yet. The manager declined the refund. I do not recommend this pool. You are not allowed to have any kind of devices unless you spend a fortune on the ones that are Coast Guard approved about $25 and up. The manager would not listen to terms. You were not told upon entry about the pacific floating devices per the Coast Guard. The pool upon entry did not notify us of the requirements of floating devices, nor are you not entitled to a refund you’re entitled to a refund if you do not have them and want to leave. So otherwise, the children went to have fun could...

This place is amazing the only reason I gave it four stars was because of the title on Google maps it gave the impression it was free. But there is a minor fee to pay. And they don’t accept cards!!! CASH ONLY!!! So remember that when you go otherwise you gotta drive back out n get cash. Parking was okay if it’s not too packed which we did catch it on a packed day(Saturday) you’ll know it’s crowded when you can’t find parking. But we went twice already both times were great!! I love the water it’s clear and clean and cold!! You can pack coolers and food to bring in for the kids, chairs, mats to sit on. Cute little set up. Every 30 mins i believe they blow whistles for the kids to get out and let the adults marinate in there for a min. Prolly like a 15-20 min break. Other than that it’s a nice spot to go...

This is my first time here and unfortunately water very full of sulfur (smell was very strong). We had planned our evening to be here till close which is advertised till 7pm when the life guards (young teenagers) said they were closing at 5pm this is 10 minutes till 5pm. We gather our items and my party of 6 head to the restrooms to rinse off & change only to have the life guards come to us and say they are closed and are ready to go home. That there was very upsetting as we already had all of our items close to the exit just waiting on restroom to change so that we did not drive home (close to 2 hours) soaking wet. Will definitely not return prefer to either stay close to home or drive further and not be treated like we are trying to stay here when all we were trying to do is change...

First things first the people that are mentioning sulfur are talking about Hanna not Hancock, same town two different aquifers and springs. This one is a fresh water spring that flows all year but that they divert into a pool and open for the summer months only. It’s amazingly refreshing larger than it looks and even if the parking lot is full there is plenty of room to still swim. Many people bring picnics and make a day of it. I have learned they don’t allow floats but that’s probably good since it means there is space in te water to swim around. So if you kids need floats then they have to be coast guard approved ones I think that means not the blow up type the ones built into the suits or a pfd. I will ask today and update :)
