Mojo Coffee Lampasas — Restaurant in Lampasas

We LOVE Mojo Coffee. We first tried Mojo’s when we lived in TX and would visit family. We now live out of state but Mojo’s is a MUST when we visit.

They get the coffee right EVERY SINGLE TIME. We usually get black iced coffee or iced coffee with heavy whipping cream. We really appreciate that we can choose a specific number of ounces for the heavy whipping cream.

If you think the coffee is good, the service is even better. It seems staffed mostly with teenagers, which sometimes doesn’t equate to the best overall service experience. Not the case at Mojo’s. I am almost shocked at the maturity and professionalism they all demonstrate. They ask about your day and genuinely seem to care. And they are some cool cats!! These employees talk about their college aspirations or social things they are doing in their life right now. It’s fun to have chit chat at the window with them.

The staff are some of the nicest and friendliest people which is definitely a perk. The coffee is about on Par with starbucks except they have sugar free and keto options that SB does not. Still question whether when you ask for something keto though if they make it sugar free too or if you have to specifically say that. Also all of their drinks are milk based rather than coffee based? A little pricey- more expensive than SB with the new price changes. REALLY need to work on their order management. If the double line of cars is to the street don’t bother walking up because it seems like they handle the drive through orders first and you’ll be standing out at the window for 30 minutes anyways and the car that was the last in line when you got there is already long gone. PROS: Great tasting espresso, friendly staff & pretty quick service! The drinks have been tasty thus far and I really hope it stays like this!! *ALMOND MILK: If you like almond milk for your milk replacement, theirs is AMAZINGLY creamy and delicious. UPDATE: Been a regular now since they opened, and I have to say, I havent been twice where my drink has tasted the same. Pretty inconsistant. Which confuses me since everyone should be doing the same recipes. Ive even had a drink be tasteless and almost coffee-less. And I only ever get the same thing.
