Sonic Drive-In — Restaurant in Lampasas

I made an app order tonight and was supposed to pick up at 730ish... I decided to run an errand to give them time to make the order with out a rush and checked in about 5 til 8 in stall 2 to b exact... Car hopper saw when I drove up so she knew I was there especially since she walked by us 3-4 times before another girl who walked by to give an order to another customer came by and asked if my order was put in under (my name) and I said yes... I asked if it was ready cuz I had checked in and sat there over 15-20 minutes with absolutely noone else there in the parking lot... Then the girl that walked by 3 times finally brought the order out and I showed her I had checked in and told her I didn't understand how she didn't know I was there when she had passed by 3 times and all she had to say was "my bad"... Like wow.... The food is always good but tonight the service...

I've never been disappointed with Sonic, until tonight. I asked for the combo #1 (cheeseburger, side and a drink) with mustard and no cheese and no tomatoes. 3 times the girl repeated back to me wrong and kept saying "with ketchup and mayo", and 3 times I repeated my original request. What I got was a cold mustard burger WITH CHEESE, lettuce, nasty tasting pickles, and no onion. I later learned through the website that the Sonic burgers now come with ketchup and mayo sauce and "fresh" pickles. Why do our classic burger joints keep trying to be like "the other guys"? If a wanted "special sauce on my burger, I'd go to McDonald's and if I wanted "fresh" pickles, I'd go to Burger King. Come on, Sonic! Stick to mustard or mayo burgers and sliced hamburger fill...

Awesome indulgence yall!! Cant eat like this everyday because its not the best as far as having healthy options but its definitely worth the extra calories with all the different options to chose from. I love the Cherry limeade with extra cherry syrup to give it a kick. Something about adding cherry to a soda that really makes it all the better, even a regular cherry coke and add cherry. You can even do cherry vanilla drpepper with real cherries at the bottom like a prize for success or even strawberry chunks etc.. heck or have it slushed even.. get creative at Happy hour 1/2 pri ed drinks to expand your world a bit.. the possibilities...
