GameStop — Local services in Lancaster

Ordered copies of Pokemon Heart Gold and Soul Silver online. Got them in and they were reproduction cartridges. (Company continues to sell fakes knowingly) Went into this store to return them and the manager made it seem like it was a problem that I was returning a bunch of copies of games that a company is selling and does not care. After being in store for an hour I got my refund. Next day I go on the gamestop app to see whats online, I noticed my points were -17,000. This doesn't make sense since I had 20,000 before purchasing all games and 40,000 afterwards. Now all of a sudden my points are negative. I reach out via email and the customer service rep just said that I am banned and he can not give me further information on why I am nor forward me information on how to contact someone who could help me. This situation sucks because this is the first time this has happened and I have been through the process of purchasing games and needing to return them before. But it was not until I went to this store specifically and the store manager had an issue. Now I am out of 20,000 points and 6 months of membership value because of this store. I will be more than happy to take my business to local game shops. They do not sell fake games so I would not run into this issue, plus their customer service is way better than this company as a whole. Ridiculously long wait to check out Saturday December 22. To have 2-3 people working Saturday night before Christmas ridiculous especially when the female working was on the phone with a customer 30 or more minutes because I stood in line to check our a mug for $6.40 I would have bought more but was disgusted with waiting. There were 3 Ppl on front of me n I was in line 30 mins n the same guy was at the register god only knows why he was at the register 30 o more minutes so of 2 registers one was on the phone w a customer, one was doing something for a customer at register and the 2 ppl in front if me each had 1 to 3 small items. I think there was another person walking In store working. Staff was apologic. I said to her management didn't do a good job and I saw many walk out the door probably because there was no one to answer questions or help w items up high. I was interested in a item up beyond my reach but I was not going to ask about it after waiting in line 30 mins. Before Christmas stores at park City need to have better staffing but staffing here never good and why we go to another game stop. I'd never come here if I was in a hurry I'd go to one of the other stores. The staff was great don't get me wrong and they were pleasant and not in control of staffing but management apparently doesn't care if customers walk out or go to other stored or they'd have 4 ppl working over the holidays. Its game stop they sell games and other gaming related items but if you want to trade your games in or sell them there is better places to go, Luke Complete in Box in Ephrata. Game Stop has a horrible trade in program but the nice thing they do have is the game protection plan, you pay a few extra dollars and if ANYTHING happens to the game they will give you a brand new one. There is even videos on YouTube of people buying a brand new game at GameStop opening it right there at the counter and braking it right in front of the employees and they still give the people a brand new game. It's definitely worth the extra money to get the protection plan since physical disc's wear out over time and scratch very easily. It's just nice to know that if anything happens to your brand new $60 game you can simply get another one right there...
