I will NEVER purchase anything from JCPenney again it has been nothing but a head ache. Back in November they were running a Black Friday deal on a Serta mattress that my husband and I couldn’t pass up 18month free interest along with a $200 gift card. So we purchase it we were told by the employee Muhammad that our gift card would be sent via mail after the bed was delivered. Our bed wasn’t delivered until mid December so I gave them until after Christmas and still no gift card. I call customer service and they said “ it should be coming it may take a little longer cause of the holidays.” Ok cool understandable come January I get my first bill and I was being charged interest. Had to call and get that fixed. Now it’s February and still no gift card I go and speak to manager named Deandre. He says oh you were to fill out a paper ok so why all of sudden two months later now I have a paper o had to fill out no one gave to me or even stated I needed to fill out said paper for gift card. He told me he would figure out for me and call me. I waited a week called back another manager answers and stated “ oh Deandre is dealing with this he will call you this evening” I have still yet to get a answer. No one that works there clearly knows how to do their job properly or how to treat customers. I will be canceling my credit card as soon as this bed is paid off and I will be taking my future business to Boscovs or even Ashley furniture cause JCPenney...
Read moreDrove from Reading Pa with the wife to do some shopping and obviously to get out of the house from this quarantine stopped in Jc Penny's Lancaster Pa and while shopping I lost my phone there looked all over for it and nothing before we left we went and asked at the customer service desk and nothing so we left and went home bummed out my wife tells me to call the next day so I did and spoke to a manager named Kurt he was very understanding of my situation he went and looked in what I think is there lost and found box and nothing so he took my name and a contact number he asked me where did I think I lost it and I told him the areas I was at then he asked for my description of the phone and we left it there not really expecting for him to call back but hold and behold about 1 hour later the dude called me to say that he believed that they found it it was cool cause he didn't take credit for finding it he said that they found it meaning as a group and for that I am very great full and he and the staff have earned my respect and I will continue to drive almost an hour just to come here and shop oh by the way that day I did spend over $300.00 on my Jc Penny's card so you Kurt and your staff thanks a lot bro. I had purchased a dining room set which had damages to the table as well as chairs. The chairs were severely wobbly and even with carpet or foot protectors, they continued to be quite wobbly. It took 1month to be able to schedule an appointment, because their repair center technicians are with another company. The repair technician was able to fix the table; however the chairs were unable to be corrected. He recommended replacement of the chairs. I waited a week to receive the call to discuss the exchange, but no call. When I called customer service, I was received with attitude and unprofessionalism. They are sending the chair exchanges, but stated again it will take about a month to get a call from the factory to get the exchange. Not only that, the delivery service is also with another company; thus, delivery also takes another month. Since it is a separate company, JCPenney is unwilling to remedy any issues with delivery.
I would recommend not purchasing furniture from JCPenney. If there are ever any issues, due to the incompetence of their delivery service, or the unprofessionalism of their customer service, it is not worth...
