FYE — Local services in Lancaster

I’D GIVE IT 0 STARS IF I COULD. Terrible costumer service!!! The workers on Saturday July 1st 2023 racially profiled me and my friends mind you 2 of us are black and the other is Latino. We walked into this store (mind you it was full of ppl especially WHITE PPL) and as soon as we get in there and look around at the vinyls they have all the workers follow us and call security to watch us in the store ..incase we tried to steal ..mind you WE HAVE MONEY. We all go to a private school ..so we aren’t broke …but the security and workers went as far as to take the vinyls we were gonna buy and put them upfront in case we stole… which I could understand if they did that with all costumers to avoid stealing but out of all the ppl in the store they do that to the only colored ones in there. Funny part is there’s a group of teens (they are white) laughing and talking to the workers and what not..but when they leave the alarm goes off. The workers were bystanders and allowed them to walk out the store and even went as far as to tell them to jus go. No security..no nothing. But me and MY FRIENDS needed security to look around this store. Let’s also include the fact that we confronted the workers about this issue in a respectful manner ofc and they laughed in our faces and saw no wrongs in...

Your workers kept pushing this subscription thing on me and my friends and said it was free but wasn't. Every time I said no they kept mentioning how it was free and it has good benifits. They annoyed me and everyone else in line because instead of ringong my stuff up they kept pushing your scam service. That was a while ago. Just recently I found out that it really wasn't free at all. Its been charging me 10 bucks a month for something that they said was free. This was going on for about a year and a half and I didn't even know about it. I wasn't even able to use it. I looked up how to get rid of it and it and I found out that im not the only one with this issue. There are multiple forums on reddit and twitter that are talking about this scam. I don't know how much you stole but I want it back or I at least want those workers fired if it wasn't the companys fault but I doubt that it isn't.

I recomend everyone to never go here or any of their other stores because they will try to scam you and I recomend people who have been scammed to try and sue them for your money back. This is wrong and should never...

Wow, FYE has changed a lot in the past few years! They used to have an unparalleled selection of music, all genres, on hand in the store, with a selection of movies that rivaled Suncoast to boot. Times have changed, and FYE now seems to be searching for a focus other than music. They sell t-shirts, toys, low-quality Bluetooth speakers, overpriced headphones, and a bunch of other paraphernalia that you can find at Five Below. Music is relegated to the center aisle only, and the selection is a shadow of its former self. Prices seem competitive, and there are used CDs among the new stock that have steep discounts. But the organization and completionist zeal that characterized this music store in the past...
