The food here is normally great. The service is hit or miss. The service I got yesterday, I walked right out. I pulled up to Qdoba and there was a sign on the door “due to short staff we are only taking online orders.” I walked in still because this was not normal for this location and there of course was no warning online, and I drove out of my way, to be turned away. When I walked in, I was not greeted, but was YELLED AT, the woman behind the counter yelled “We are only taking online orders if you’re stuff ain’t on the table then you need to be patient and wait.” Might I add that I didn’t even get in line yet, and I just wanted to ask a question. I wasn’t given that chance. I will also add that as she rudely turned me away, she was clearly making someone’s order who was IN STORE, and it was not an online order because she was asking the woman what she wanted. So why did I get turned away, not even greeted, when this woman was getting a bowl made for her at the moment, if you can do it for one person, you shouldn’t be turning others away, that drove out of their way to get there, without any warning about online order only. NOT TO MENTION, if they were so short staff, why were there three people working behind the counter? One not even doing anything just standing at the register? I honestly should have called the manager. Because I think the employees were just being lazy, and placed a sign on the door so they would only have to do online orders.
I get places are short staffed during this pandemic, but I would have gladly walked away, without anger had I been greeted with “a hello and we are so sorry” but what I got was rude, and no greeting.
I don’t know whether or not I’ll be back. It’s definitely not worth the drive just to get yelled at when you walk...
Read moreThere were 2 people working on a Saturday. I was the only person in the store, waiting in line to order. The one employee says it will be a bit of a wait, which was polite hence the 2 stars and not 1. Usually they don't tell you, they usually just ignore you. I asked how long and she said 15 minutes! I said no and left.
This happens all the time when I go there. They get these large on call orders and won't serve anyone in person until they finish the to go order. Either the line backs up or you're just standing in line staring at the counter. The longest I waited was 55 minutes! It would take two minutes to just put food in a bowl and ring me out and then go back to the on call order. I'm the one that's physically there waiting. You're massively inconveniencing the people physically there waiting, when the person picking up the takeout order is not. And normally they don't even tell you, they just refuse to acknowledge you exist. It's a broken system and I'm just not waiting anymore, if they won't serve me then they lost my business. Update: I gave this place another chance and they closed over half an hour early according to their own sign. I'm never coming back here. If it's this poorly run, who knows what that are...
Read moreI would not recommend this place to ANYONE. The dishes do not get washed properly and there is mold growing in a lot of places in the store. They let prepped food go WAY past expiration dates and still try to sell rotten product. DO NOT TIP CASH HERE. The GENERAL MANAGER AMEY steals her employees tips to make up for ‘missing money’. Very very sketchy and suspicious behavior. There is a lot of sexual inappropriate behavior between coworkers which has made the customers uncomfortable and nothing is done about it. There are employees smoking marijuana during work and on the mall property and nothing is done about it. The company constantly has a ‘labor’ issue which makes us short handed which results in customers waiting in line and sometimes walking out unhappy. I’ve been a part of this company for 7 years and have dealt with many general managers. Qdoba has never been this bad. The general manager AMEY CASSILL is to blame and I cannot believe she is still approved to run this store. She is supposed to work a mandatory 50 hours for her salary, but yet she is NEVER present for her so called ‘team’. Corporate NEEDS to step in and...
