ALDI — Local services in Landrum

This is a regular for me when grocery shopping. The produce is unmatched, especially for price. We really buy all our staples here and have recently started buying the meat, it is great! The store is also always well stocked. The staff is very friendly, I look forward to seeing some of them each week. Their staff is not waiting up front for check out, as I’m sure they are busy with other things but they are always quick to come check you out when they see you’re there to ring up. (I saw other reviews complain about paying for bags and a buggy. You get the quarter back when you return your cart… which is great because you avoid buggies in the parking lot piling up. The employees work their butts off at this store. I see them always stocking shelves helping customers. I give them all a five star rating. The store is very clean with wide aisles, that gets a five star too. I give three stars just because of the prices. Aldi's is usually a reasonably priced store. I make a grocery list before I go shopping, making Aldi's my first stop. I am a price watcher and lately, more than half my list goes unfulfilled and I have to go across the street to Ingles because prices are better. Stop by to do some shopping and price for cherry was $3.49 and when I came to the register price went up to $5.29 , I ask them what is going on? Why price is different, they said: price in the system is correct and we forgot to change it.

When I had same thing at the Boiling spring Aldi they just updated the price for me cause I was taking for price less then it was in the system and I was happy and they knew where to change the tag.

Here, they are not trained , their answer was , in the system is right price and we don’t care if u saw something different...
