KFC — Restaurant in Landrum

This location shorted us 4 sides that we ordered via the KFC app and picked up in person. Unfortunately, we didn’t realize it till we got home. We didn’t want to drive 20 minutes back to the restaurant to pick these items up, so we called and spoke with the “manager.” He was super condescending on the phone, rude, and basically mocked us. He said there was no way to credit our card, and we’d have to drive back over there to get a refund after he “hit a few buttons on the computer and handed us cash pretty much like a refund works anywhere else in the world.” We would suggest never patronizing this location. I wouldn’t guess that a manager this rude and condescending sets a poor example for the people working there and has low standards for quality and cleanliness. I ordered the special, fried chicken livers, mashed potatoes, coleslaw, and a biscuit. The livers were very good with a couple of small pieces were overcooked. The mashed potatoes were KFC usual, but for the amount of $ that you spend, they could have given me more than a tablespoon, the coleslaw was good as usual, but the biscuits were a little hard. Hubby ordered the 4 pieces of dark meat original which was a little greasy, 2 coleslaw, and a biscuit. The lady at the counter was awesome, bubbly personality, friendly, and kind. My family stopped at the KFC in Landrum SC while traveling at Exit 1. The Service was EXCELLENT. The whole place was spotless and so clean. The bathrooms were very clean and fully stocked. It was around dinner 5:30. The staff was very friendly and a staff member named Tyler even brought our food to our table. They wore gloves which was very impressive handling the food. The employee named Tyler was extra nice and so kind. I thought he was the manager and went to give him a compliment. He was very clean, very handsome, clean cut and dressed very professional. He should be a manager, if not here, One day some where somebody will be lucky to have him. This was a very pleasant experience and when traveling through we will definitely go back.
