This is long, but it's such a good story. I wish I had not waited so long to post, I've forgotten some of the details. About 2 months ago I had a business meeting and an armful of paperwork that needed to be organized before I went. I stopped in at this Bojangles and ran in with my newly purchased notebooks, hole punch, folders, and coffee from home. I sat at a table and spread out. The manager (I assume) was sitting with some of her employees while they were having breakfast. Another gentleman was standing talking to them, I assume he was a higher ranking manager. They were discussing traveling to Georgia for some kind or convention or perhaps training. The young employees were excited to attend and were deciding who would go on the two day trip. The manager looked over at me taking up their space and said, "ma'am would you like something to drink?" but I had my coffee from home and declined. She then went back to talking to her boss and employees. When they finished she instructed them to retrieve some other employees so they could eat too. I also heard her telling her boss she had met the manager of the Hare and the Hound, and she addressed her "Are you the Bojangles lady?" Her reply, "Yes, are you the Hare and the Hound lady?" Both admiring one another's work ethic. You could tell both managers that morning were well liked and I thought it was so nice how attentive they were to the young ones and to offer me a drink while I was scrambling there with my paperwork and made no purchase. All the while, other employees were working the food area and customers were running smooth. Yesterday afternoon I went through their drive thru for a coffee. And the young girl handed it to me and asked, "Just coffee?" I said yes, she told me not to worry about it. How sweet. Always clean and friendly in there. Keep up...
Read moreI came here with my friend and went through the drive-through as soon as I started to order the number nine the cashier cut me off In the middle of me speaking Kind of in a rude way, When she finished taking my order, we went to the window and they told us it would take about six minutes for the food to be done. I said that’s totally fine. She gave us our drinks with no straw and then pulled us up. We waited for 25 minutes after seeing multiple other cars, get their food before us and then someone came outside and handed us a bag of food and stood by the back of my car with a smile watching me open the bag, When I realized it was not my food, that’s when I saw her, smiling and looking at me from the back of my car in the rearview mirror, She immediately came back and grabbed the bag and gave it to another car As if she already knew it wasn’t mine. After waiting about 10 more minutes, A different person came out. It looked like the manager and gave us our food, We had no biscuits, And we had the wrong sauce. She went back for the items and we got them. We had paid for extra BBQ Sauce, and only received the one. I don’t know why these teenage girls were playing around in the workplace, Making the company look bad. I was not rude to a single person, Patiently waited 30 minutes for the six minute wait she said, And did not complain. I don’t know why we got treated this way, But I do not...
Read moreI frequent the Bojangles in Landrum, SC at least 3-5 times a week, or at least I did until Monday 3/17/25. I have overlooked the fact that service has gradually gone downhill. However, this location obviously has some major problems as I learned this week. As I was consuming my meal, it became hard to drink from the straw. I open the cup lid and to my surprise found a receipt from and order placed the previous day in my cup. Photo attached. My understanding (having worked in this industry years ago) is that the cups are to remain stacked for sanitary purposes. Only the outside surface of the cup should be exposed until filled with beverage. Well obviously that is not the practice of this location. Thankfully the receipt remained intact so that no pieces did pass through the straw putting anyone at risk of choking. I do not even want to think of all that was exposed to the inside of this cup. I normally refrain from posting negative reviews however, it has been 3 days since I sent an email to the corporate office and no response. Not only does this location seem to have poor handling habits, corporately they seem to accept the practice as a non issue. My families estimated $4,000.00 per year spend with Bojangles will just have to go to a...
