Lansing JazzFest — Local services in Lansing

Great lineup of diverse jazz musicians. The event area sprawled out over 3 or 4 blocks. The beverage tent was large, and had a jazz trio playing throughout the night. The food trucks and merchandise kiosks had items to purchase related to a live music genre. There were designated seating areas, and plenty of spots up and down the street where you could set up portable chairs.

Great venue. Restaurants anld businesses operated well. Only negative are the political petitioneers asking for signatures. One lady would not accept a "No thank you" and wanted to know why I would no t sign. I informed her that I am experiencing a fun night out and do not want to think about politics. She the asked me, "Is it because I don't like the candidate?" I informed her that I like the candidate, but am here for fun. She began to lecture me about the candidate and how they need my signature....

It is a cool venue if you like music drinking beer and hanging out for most of the day, they do have revolving music styles bands, it is an Eclectic crowd with an eclectic lineup of bands... Same as Jazz Fest Blues Fest or any kind of fast same setup the Corral you in the middle make you pay to get in to drink a beer it's cost you five bucks to seven bucks a piece and then it gets kind of crowded with very little...
