I went to the Deli counter. There were four employees behind the counter. I waited about five minutes and no one looked up, or over at me, greeted me, NOTHING. Then all of a sudden an employee walked up to the counter, right in front of me, and an employee behind the counter instantly addressed her and rapidly walked over to serve her. When the employee who purchased food walked away, the one behind the counter did not acknowledge me at all. She went right back to what she was doing before.( putting fried chicken in styrofoam containers). I remained standing there and none of the four even looked at me. Then a man with a baby stroller walked up next to me. One of the four behind the counter ( the male) stopped what he was doing and assisted the man with the stroller who JUST got there. After he helped the man he then came around the front of the counter and began straightening up the items in front of the display case.......right in front of me. I had been standing there for at least TEN MINUTES. NO ONE EVER ADDRESSED ME. Finally, I said to the man, " You are losing customers. I was here at least ten minutes and no one waited on me." I started to walk away and he burst out laughing. I turned around and one of the ladies asked him what I had said to him. I did not hear what he said, but then they both started laughing and looked right at me. I WILL NEVER EVER AGAIN USE THE DELI. After I left Winn Dixie I went straight to Publix and got the potatoes salad I wanted. Guess what? I was immediately greeted and waited on in a professional and courteous manner, unlike...
Read moreOn 06.29.19 in the evening I ran in to only pick up laundry detergent, softener and bleach so, I went directly to the laundry detergent aisle, grabbed what I needed and went directly to the check out line. Right away the young lady beyond the counter, Yissel, asked me why I was not interested in the amazing sale going on that week for the brand of detergent and softener I purchased. I informed her I did not know about it and I just rushed in and went directly to the laundry detergent aisle to get what I needed and ran right to the register. No one else was in line so she brought me to the front of another aisle to show me the display of the amazing sale going on that week for my brand of detergent. Of course, I took advantage of the sale and Yissel helped put the items in my cart. I was EXTREMELY impressed by Yissel's professionalism - inquiring but not pushy - took a moment to bring me to the sale display, took a moment to explain the sale to me and took a moment to help put the items in my cart. It is not often that younger people are that patient to even inquire if they can inform others of a better deal let alone walk them to another spot, kindly explain the "deal" and help put items in the cart - without making the person feel they are being a pest. I am not elderly and definitely do not need help reading nor putting items in my cart but, it was refreshing to have Yissel guide me and assist me in such a kind manner. Everywhere needs...
Read moreThis was a very nice Winn-Dixie. It was a late night grocery run and the entire store looked flawless everything had already been restocked and fronted on the shelves. They had everything that I was looking for although I wish you could have been at just a little lower of a price. The parking lot was clean and clear with very little clutter and hardly any shopping carts left in the parking lot. In fact the only reason why this store did not receive a fifth Star was because of its bathrooms. I can't speak for the women's room but in the men's room there were no paper towels and no air dryer that sucks when it happens. Although I was quite amused to see that there is a diaper changing station in the men's room so I'm glad to see that Winn-Dixie is keeping up with the times. Even though I was one of the last people to leave the store the associates still treated me with a lot of kindness and didn't try to rush me out the door at all. Good job to the whole team at that Winn-Dixie and I highly recommend...
