Lantana Pizza — Restaurant in Lantana

I ordered a grilled chicken sub from Lantana Pizza and me and my coworker split the sub in half. Upon eating my portion of the sub I noticed that the dressing was missing. I called Lantana Pizza because I was upset and now I had to eat a dry sub. When I called them she offered to deliver it but I said it was too late I'm already on my lunch I don't get another lunch and I wanted to let them know of their error. While eating my dry sub when I was about to take my final bite I noticed curly hair embedded into the cheese sticking out of the sub bread. When I got off work I went to Lantana Pizza and I told the cashier what happened as I was telling the cashier what happened this blonde Italian lady walked up behind me grab my Styrofoam togo plates took the bag looked me up and down upset and said come over here it's not nice to talk like that in front of customers (She made it seem like I was talking loud so everyone could here!!) she was very rude!! When she did that yes I raised my voice a bit, Then she told me to go outside because she didn't want her customers to know how hair was in my food. She said yeah after you ate the whole sub now you want your money back. I told her I want my money back because there's hair in my food. She said she would give me my money back and never come back. I told her it was fine because I already told the cashier on the phone that I would never come back! She never gave me my money back and lied to the manger saying I was rude and loud from the being. She also had the audacity to say that it was my hair. The hair that was embedded into the cheese was black curly hair. My hair is not black my hair is a red burgundy color and straight!!!!!!!!! The audacity of this woman!!!! I've never had someone just lie so boldly in front of my face and be very disrespectful to me!! That really bothered and angered me so much!! in the end I didn't get my money back but will dispute charges on my credit card! The Italian woman with the blonde hair which I didn't get her name was very very very nasty! Horrible human being. Horrible! It may have been a small piece left but first off they forgot to include something that went with the order and that I paid for, the hair at the end drew the final straw. How do I know that no other foreign objects was in the Sub! They should wear hairnets to ensure this doesn't happen again! I visited 12/29 as part of a 20-25 person wedding rehearsal dinner because Old Key Lime House did not follow through with the 5 pm reservation they assured our dinner coordinators of. The party decided the 2 hour wait time given us was ridiculous, and the bride was able to confirm Lantana Pizza had space on their patio for our large group, as the indoor space was already reserved. By the time we drove over, the staff had pulled together tables and set them: impressive!

SERVICE: Service was a bit slow and “scattered”: drinks were all taken at once but alcohol came out first and some got theirs long before others. If I was to be picky, I wish everyone got a glass of water as soon as they sat down; myself and a friend ordered water as our beverage and we were initially forgotten when all the drinks came out. In all, for our large and unexpected group, the ladies did a fantastic job. Yes, we did have to wait a while for food but the conversation was flowing. We were also aware that there was another (planned as far as we knew) group inside that our waitresses also were serving. One of our waitresses made us laugh with her honesty when we asked about the coffee several ordered and had been waiting on, and her confession that she forgot it after brewing it because of all the craziness of the night! :D She quickly came back with it.

FOOD: I ordered a calzone with spinach and was impressed, thinking it quite tasty. It was also quite substantial and as she handed it to me, the waitress told me she put another plate below if I wanted to use it to place half on in order to cut it. I was very appreciative that when she took the other half of my calzone to box up, she said she’d get me more sauce and I was given a proper portion of sauce to take away! Some restaurants are very skimpy with calzone sauce and I don’t get it.

MISC: I was sitting in front of the parking space where their delivery driver was parked. I noticed that 9/10 times he would leave off his lights until he backed fully out of the spot, then when he returned, he would turn them off as he turned into the spot. This simple consideration was much...

A total rip-off for over priced cold pizza and menu prices and the price you'll be asked to pay are are different.

When I picked up my order on August 10, 2021, the invoice price and my calculated cost based on their menu were 20% different, ($10.00 on a $50.00 order). Asking why there was $10 difference, I was told, "the menu price and our (establishment's computer) price" were DIFFERENT. When I asked why the menu price was incorrect, I was told "I had an old menu". When I asked for the date code on the menu, they didn't have ONE. I advised the woman in charge that this is FALSE ADVERTING!!!. She threatened to call the police.

I sat down and waited for my order that should have been completed. They gave me $10.00 and told me never to come back.

Do yourself a BIG favor go somewhere, ANYWHERE, else.

Yes, I was offered and accepted a refund. However, after questioning Lantana Pizza prices, the refund was offered only after said owner threatened to call the POLICE!!

Dear Owner: Please post the date Lantana PIzza prices were increased 20%.

A statement on the menu stating that prices may increase without notice, is required otherwise, the menu is misleading and outright FALSE ADVERTISING!

If these menu’s have been mailed using the USPO, that is MAIL FRAUD!

Additionally, your customers MUST be notified that menu prices are no longer valid.

In an effort to give Lantana Pizza a fair review, this evening I visited the pizzera. Upon entering the establishment, I was carrying an unlit cigar. After placing my order and finding a table -- there was just 1 customer. I was approached and asked to leave because I had a cigar in my hand.
