South Texas Oriental Store is heaven-sent for us Filipinos in Laredo. It offers a variety of Pinoysâ food items. Many are my personal favorites.
Today, Hubby and I did our 4th shopping trip since it opened. It was mainly to buy the walis tambo (soft broom) but we ended up buying a lot moreâŠ. just canât help it. Tyrone, the cashier, was happy to show us the frozen meat and the purple yam. He seems to enjoy his job there; I can tell by his pleasant demeanor.
