Dollar General — Local services in Largo

So I am writing this on behalf of my husband, who literally loves going to Dollar General. We have to stop at every Dollar General no matter where we are, and he compares them all to this one. It's clean, it's organized and sadly, the employees ask my husband where he found items because he is there so much, he knows where everything is! We love their products and their prices and it's great to be able to run, grab what we need and head out. Honestly, their prices are great if you are just picking up something quickly and they have some items (Micellar Water for example) that are significantly cheaper than the other stores. So if you do your research, you can get some decent deals. We are at this store at least once or twice a week and it's fun to poke around and see what they have. I go to a lot of Dollar Generals and this is by far the best I think I've ever been in. I mean from North GA to South FL. The staff is the kindest and most helpful group of employees I've ever met. They are more like family once you become a sort of regular. Larry, the manager, is great and has a lot of retail experience and the best part, he knows how to treat his staff, and his customers. As far as stock issues go, they are always fully stocked and there are times when you see a lot of carts in the isles. I see this in most FL DG's for some reason. I think it is more of a corporate problem than anything. I believe it is a product of poor communication between corp and the individual stores. Corporate seems to need to get rid of product, so they ship it to stores that don't have the room to store it and sometimes get overwhelmed with what they...

DG had a special 2 day sale and did not have what I went there for. Very disappointed! The 2 gals working there were very nice but they aren't permitted to give rain checks. Assistant Manager called other stores but they all said the same thing. The delivery truck was there the day before but didn't have any regular Dr Pepper or Mountain Dew Ice.
