Stopped in as a small group (in our early 30s) on Sunday 7/2. Date specific in case anyone who dined the same day also complains/complained of food-borne illness. Within 20 mins of the meal, my husband and our friend were immediately in need of toilets- no details needed. Absolutely caused by food poisoning.

Grouper fish tacos were the main culprit with fish that smelled and tasted rancid. I have fished and have eaten grouper most of my life so I understand what it’s supposed to smell, look, and feel like. 2.5 of 3 tacos were left unconsumed. The tater tots were edible and just okay. The Cuban sandwich was also left half eaten due to poor quality and no flavour. The chicken burger as described by the consumer „was wet and bland…it was mush in my mouth“. We also ordered two drinks which tasted like drinks we used to have at college parties…entirely too much sour mix with zero concept of balance. The prices were not aligned with quality. An absolute disappointment.

For the good: the entertainment. There were a few performers doing karaoke in turns- not open mic karaoke for this night. They were great! We really appreciated and enjoyed their talents!! Saved the night. Service was also a positive point as our server was lovely.

All in all- I could not recommend anyone dine in this establishment, I think the environment and service are the only reason this place is highly rated. If you DO dine here- check your...

All was well, except for when my group was yelled at across the bar by the clearly inebriated man wearing a ‘security’ shirt, because one of our group decided to say the F word out loud. Because “There are children here!” As in, the singular couple that decided to bring their young child to a loud karaoke bar past 11 at night. When we immediately apologized to the parents, they didn’t take any issue, but this gentleman continued. Bear in mind this ‘security’ person was getting priority service for his beverages as he slumped over his phone and commented even louder at the political libel being blasted on the television in the background. As if watching a bloody shooting on repeat and yelling commentary about it while drinking on the job and dancing around (assuming this person worked there by the other employees behavior) is any more appropriate!

Nobody else seemed to take issue but they were happy to listen him go on about how inappropriate our entire group was while he was served another round. Turns out one person can really bring a place down. Literally so embarrassing for them, guarantee he would’ve blown a higher amount than any of the 9 people we were with. What about the numerous people who sang profane songs during the hours of karaoke? Sad.

Reason why I’m giving one star ! On 06-29 as we waiting for the rest of our party to arrive , I witness a waitress explain to a customer outside that their food was incorrect and saying sorry our cook is Mexican 🤔 and went on telling them if you want me to change this would take even longer and his Mexican and bla bla bla ! Im not Mexican but that really offended me because who cares what nationality the person making the food is ! With her damn attitude she probably gave the wrong order ! Anyways our party got there and for my surprised they gave us her ! I immediately complain that I didn’t want her mind you she came over to our table thru the menus and said “ you only have one hour to order our kitchen is closing ! This female needs to be fired ! Her lack of customer service is ridiculous and it will make you focus loose q lot or customers ! The young lady who was assigned to us after was absolutely a sweet heart ! The male at the bar with long hair and hat with glasses made sure our drinks were also good ! The food on the one hand took for ever to come however was DELICIOUS! Really really good actually ! Hopefully the owner will do something about the bad apple they have in...
