I am currently a junior in a rigorous Computer Animation program at RCAD and I first stopped in because the self-built PC I used for ALL of my work had stopped turning on and showed absolutely no signs of life. Needless to say, I was panicking but when I came to Pinellas Computers desperately seeking help I was met with a team of friendly, knowledgeable tech wizards who sympathized with me and asked only $50 to take the PC into their care and figure out everything that was wrong with it. This is not something I could have done myself and their expertise offered me peace of mind– something I can't really put a price on. Not only do they know their way around computers, but they are really patient and will explain to you the issue in a way that is easily comprehensible. They are NOT interested in preying on those who are less tech-savvy and using complicated jargon to get you to pay for things you don't need. I would send my grandparents to them with no concern. If you're having computer problems like I was and you don't feel knowledgeable enough to fix it yourself, save yourself some time and headaches and stop in. I've been recommending their services to everyone I know who relies on their computer like I do.

Read moreI took an old Windows 7 Dell Inspiron to Pinellas Computers of Largo after the Geeks at Best Buy would not touch it. My antique dinosaur of a computer had a decade of valuable documents from both home and work along with irreplaceable photos I've taken over the years. Stuart who first assisted me, informed me that Windows 7 would no longer be supported in about 4 months. I didn't care, my computer was dear to me and would continue to serve as a platform for documents and photos. The team at their store worked tirelessly for a couple of weeks to resuscitate my Dell. The mother board, power switch and keyboard were all replaced but her time was up. To make a long story short Mike the manager went out of his way to assure me nothing was lost. He offered me an up to date computer at a more than reasonable price, then made a seamless transfer of all my data onto the new one. To protect my personal data Mike also had the hard drive pulled out of the old Dell and returned all parts. I could not be happier. The Tyrone location was kind enough to refer me to the Largo location who'd be able to take a look at it sooner than they would. Mercedes M. was a freakin lifesaver!!! I popped in about 10-15 minutes before closing on Saturday just to get it dropped off to be assessed Monday morning, and could not have been more pleased. Mercedes offered exemplary customer service, being knowledgeable and courteous. She could have easily just checked in my laptop and sent me on my way, but she took the time to look at it and was able to perform the necessary repair same day. The fact she worked until a minute past the closing time just to take care of me was notably appreciated. Then you consider I was in charged only $30 for a quick fix was just mind blowing. I'm so grateful I was referred to them by someone I know who's used them, and would highly recommend them and use them personally moving forward.
