I walked in this afternoon, expecting to enjoyably browse as I usually do.

Instead there was a commotion at the front. One of the employees had brought her hyper out of control child to work. He was playing BEHIND THE CHECKOUT COUNTER. I was APPALLED. I wanted to check out; his mother stepped up, scooted him to the side where he continued to be hyper loud and "play" with stuff in the store.

I let another lady know who worked there I wouldn't be ok with children standing behind the checkout counter and noisily playing. She said nothing; her friend gave me massive stink eye.

It was a terrible experience!!

Updated 8/24/23 this continues to be used by bored mothers as a playground for their small children. Several were running around squealing, crouching in corners playing with unpurchased merchandise. One display was already messed up. I handed the counter ladies three items the children had removed from their packaging.

I fail to see why loss of inventory and customer satisfaction do not trump the clerks allowing the store to be used as an unsupervised play area, but every time I see this, I am so sorry and regret...

Ive been working in this mall for over 3 years and never really had any issues with the staff in my previous visits but just as of recently the new staff here is HORRIBLE, I had to go in there two times recently, once for my girlfriend and once for some super glue for a repair I was doing and the girl that helped me out the first time was so rude, and no help whatsoever, made me feel like I was bothering her rather than trying to be helpful especially considering I’m a guy in a women’s store and I don’t know much of that place. Thought she was having a bad day or something but regardless you don’t bring that to work, come to find out when I went back with my girlfriend a few hours later she was there laughing away with her coworkers. I love Eve's. No it is not a place to get the very best quality of stuff, no they don't have the greatest staff. BUT you can get a bra for $3!! underwear, GOOD underwear for 97 cents!! On one side of Eve's you have underwear and sexy outfits, for a very good price, and on the other side you have EVERYTHING for $1, is it the best quality stuff well no. Think of the $1 side as a dollar tree for accessories. I have bought mascara and face wipes from here to and they work great. Bottom line is it all quality stuff, no. Sometimes it doesnt last that long but ITS CHEAP and its good stuff...
