Unbelievably slow and miserable ☹️ The staff didn't acknowledge you, barely enough to place an order. They never said anything about a 30 minutes early either. I had to ask for my money back after waiting 30 minutes for an order of teriyaki chicken. While I was waiting by the cash register for the cashier to come back, i realize she keeps going across the hall to the Chinese restaurant with 3 to-go containers at a time, borrowing food and bringing it back in the to-go boxes and then serving it up to her customers. I couldn't believe i watched it all. I feel like it is very simple, if i wanted Chinese food i would have gone to the restaurant nextdoor in the first place. This is supposed to be japanese. Not real sure of the difference but it's the principle of the situation.

The menu looks pretty simple here. Tried number 6 teriyaki shrimp. Shrimps are not all deveined, which might be my personal preferences. Bit into a shrimp, and it was grainy like sand or something. Flavor is okay, not something I would go for again. Rice is cooked well. Fried cabbage and onions are just that nothing special. Got a coke Zero, and I've had before bit here it tasted different. I'm not sure if it's the syrup or what, but I didn't care for it.

This place is great! Excellent service, the food is great, and portions are very generous! Xin was VERY nice and helpful. The food is cooked to order right after you order it. We've been looking for a good place for Chinese food here in Cruces and it looks like we should have just tried the Japanese place!

Service was good. The man was nice & did his job, I even tipped him my change. The food took longer than I thought. I ordered teriyaki beef & shrimp with fried rice. The picture on the menu looked amazing & inviting. But what I got was nothing like the picture on the menu. There was hardly any beef and especially shrimp. It was all burnt and dark. I kid you not, it had more onion & veggies than anything. I was extremely disappointed when I got home. I don’t get why these restaurants do this. We’re paying customers & instead I felt like I was given someone else’s leftovers. Super disappointing. The taste wasn’t so bad but it did taste burnt. The veggies were overcooked too. If you order don’t ask for veggies because that is all that you’ll get. The rice was really good though. I also ordered a miso soup & I’m glad that I did because that was the one thing that was right. Wish it had more tofu then the 6 tiny squares & a lot more wakame seaweed cuz I love them but at least this time it had more then the 3 I got last time. I recommend the soup but not the other. Please do better. We want to get what we pay for & not what’s more convenient to...

My friend and I visited them a few days ago. We both got a number 1 and he got a large drink. First the food took over 20 minutes. While waiting my friend finished his drink and asked for a refill. We hadn't gotten our food yet and the menu doesn't mention refills. He was told, no refills, you need to buy a new drink. I followed up asking if he was serious. Noting it had been over 20 minutes, who doesn't ask for a refill.? The guy immediately packaged our food, shoved it at us, made no eye contact, and did not thank us. The food was mediocre. It was 98% cabbage and rice with very little meat. My friend (for real) vomited 45 minutes later, though I had no issues. Their menu is all teriyaki items, are they incapable of other sauces? It was overpriced, slow, and below average quality. Not worth a second look. They were jerks who skimp on food, take too long and have no refill policy. I promise had my friend not been blatino and had instead been female or Asian he would have got all the refills he wanted or at the very least a thank you for spending $30 at their mediocre mall food...
