Review: 1 Star I had an extremely disappointing experience with Sisbarro Autoworld Volkswagen regarding the cancellation of my GAP insurance.
In early October 2024, I visited the dealership to initiate the cancellation process. A sales representative mentioned their finance department was experiencing high turnover but assured me the matter could be resolved by signing a blank sheet of paper with a statement saying, “I want to cancel.” While I was initially skeptical, I trusted their word when they promised the process would take 6–8 weeks.
A week later, I called to check on the progress and was informed by the finance officer that no action had been taken. I was redirected to David Paez, who had me complete the proper cancellation form with Partners Alliance Corporation on October 31, 2024. David confirmed he had received my request and that the process was underway.
Throughout November 2024, I followed up with David via email every two weeks, but my messages went unanswered. On December 20, 2024, after being redirected by the sales staff, I visited the Sisbarro GMC location to speak with David in person. Once again, I was reassured that my request would be processed that day. Despite this assurance, I received no updates.
By January 2025, I had still not heard anything. I sent another email continuing the chain but received no response. Finally, on January 13, 2025, I contacted Partners Alliance Corporation directly. After providing my VIN number, I was informed that no cancellation request had been submitted by the dealership. Partners Alliance resolved the issue within 10 minutes over the phone and informed me I could expect a refund from the dealership by the second week of February 2025.
This experience was both frustrating and unacceptable, highlighting significant shortcomings in the dealership’s communication, follow-through, and accountability. It is baffling and disappointing that a process that should have been straightforward took three months of persistent effort on my part, only to ultimately be resolved by contacting the insurance provider directly.
Based on this experience, I cannot recommend Sisbarro Autoworld Volkswagen to anyone seeking reliable or...
Read moreI need to know who I can get a hold of regarding major issues with a SUV that I just bought 6 months ago. We are now on our 3rd engine and I'm very upset that I am paying for a 2006 with so many issues!! I keep getting lied to and given the run around. Ron the guy that sold us the SUV didn't have it checked out or even cleaned when we bought it. He said to bring it back and we will have it all checked out and cleaned....He had it for over a week and when we got it back it was still filthy and all he gave us was the previous owners record of having a oil change! Once we singed the paperwork Ron is rude, he treats us like he doesn't even know us. I have spent so much money having this towed to Sisbarro VW and I live way up near the Organ mountains. When they put one of the so called "New" engines in they lent us a loaner car....We had that loaner car for over a month and when I asked about using it again,. they told me no that some "IDIOT" had one of their loaner cars for over a month....So I am the IDIOT? IT has been very difficult to buy a $11,000 2006 used SUV and make payments and not being able to drive it, let alone feel that it is RELIABLE! We even have a 2 year warranty!! I have had a total knee replacement right when we bought this SUV so I would have a nice and RELIABLE vehicle to get back and forth to rehab....That did not happen, instead I had to bum rides for over a month!!... 3 engines really??... AS I write this, the SUV had to be towed once again to Sisbarro VW. I know about the Lemon Law and I know about the BBB and the AG. I am not happy...
Read moreI recently sold my vehicle, and I was in search of something low mileage, and fuel efficient, due to travel. I did some homework, and found a vehicle to my liking. Unfortunately, that vehicle was already sold. On the drive home, we saw a couple nice looking vehicles at the Sisbarro VW / Used dealership. Jeff Dray approached my wife and I in a very relaxed manner (Which is very fair due to the climate of COVID). Jeff answered all of my questions, and was very confident in getting something to work for my needs. We came across a Honda Accord, that did not win me over, at first. Jeff suggested a test drive, and a no obligations approach. We did the test drive, in which I was very happy with the vehicles performance, and we proceeded inside. I told Jeff that I needed to return to work within an hour, but I was interested in the car. Instead of letting me go, and following up, Jeff and his crew stepped up the showmanship! Jeff suggested that I take the car a couple days, and this is what really won me over. Due to COVID, my wife and I are extremely busy with work and kids. Taking the car a couple days allowed me to process how valuable having a fuel efficient vehicle really is! I can go on, but my point is, this crew is full of problem solvers. And this crew will do whatever is in their power to make sure you are happy. I have never experienced such excellent customer service, from a car dealership. I recommend if you are car shopping to ask for Jeff Dray. Good working man, who deserves every dollar...
