Michaels — Local services in Las Vegas

Such a beautiful store, clean, and well thought out. The cashier on Sunday afternoon, was so very pleasant and helpful I literally felt like the only customer there. Her customer Service Skills are amazing. Believe me I'm a pretty harsh critic too. Such a big city, with so many choices and his lady made eye contact, as well as not making me feel bad for being short the cash, .35¢ Then because of the time she took with me, I remembered I had a card in my purse with a few dollars. 😊 This is a win-win for customer and store!! I looked and looked on my receipt for her name this cashier, whom was more than helpful to me. (No names provided, shame.)& My phone could only produce one of the many coupons that were offered, she helped me figure it all out to the penny and to get the things I needed. Only 3 things did I have to have put back. (Compares to 20+, in earlier years. 😋 Addicted to Michaels, why yes I am.) WOW!! The only suggestion I would love to see my favorite store, and all Michael's Stores Stores, to be add to the app a CALCULATOR that could scan the items and CALCULATE what it all of our items would cost with their awesome coupons.😉😊😉 Never again, to be dying to make it work, with a line behind you, etc. Please think about this!!!!! I just bought some balloons for my wife's birthday over the weekend. I normally get them from Party City but they are closing all of their stores right now. They have always provided great service and great balloon bouquets throughout the years. My experience with Michael's was quite the opposite experience. I ordered online, 10 hot pink & 5 black. Shortly afterward, I get notifications that they're ready for pick-up. I get there and only 7 pinks are ready and 0 black balloons. I asked them where the black ones are and they said they're sold out. They could have notified me of that before they said everything was ready but they didn't. Also, why would they tell me they're ready for pick-up when only 7 of 10 pinks one are ready? So then I had to wait and listen to one of the women complain about the arthritis in her hands while she got the other 3 ready. Ok, so all that is done, I get the balloons home, and one of them is already dead. I went from wanting 15 balloons to bringing 9 good ones into the house. The next morning, maybe 16 hours later, all the balloons are dead on the floor. Party City's balloons lasted many days. I would even say they lasted a full week before dying. It’s been over two years since I’ve even set foot in a Michaels again. Ever since the location on North 5th overcharged me for items, the store manager wouldn’t even come to the front to do anything about it even though the employees acknowledged I was over charged, all they could do was give me the stores phone number and told me to call back and speak to her. She never was “available” for my call, I went over her end to the district manager, who still wouldn’t do anything. Hence why I refused to shop at a Michaels for years. I only went in today to check out what stuff they had for Resin making, which isn’t anything you can’t get at Hobby Lobby cheaper. Only reason I did make a purchase today is because they have a TON of stuff on clearance. Even down the middle of the store is stuff on clearance. Check every aisle too because they have clearance on the aisles too!

But seriously, Hobby Lobby or Joann’s are much better craft stores. Michaels, I question how they stay...
