Attention all seafood boil lovers, Crab N Spice is the place you need to try! I found out about this place through Instagram and had to try it out! I went there this past week and honestly it was worth it! The AYCE (all you can eat) starts at $38.99 and you can add on from there. You get a pretty decent amount of food included in your bag AND everyone participating in AYCE gets their OWN seafood boil bag!! The first round you get a complimentary cluster of snow crab legs but after that is a one time purchase add on of about $18 if you want more rounds. I did also see something about King Crab legs being an option to add on for around $30. The menu selection is great, my first bag I ordered shrimp, scallops, crawfish and mussels. For the sauce I ordered garlic butter with no spice and for my 3 sides I ordered rice, lemon pepper fries, and chicken wings. I got about 2 rounds in which had me stuffed! The chicken wings are yummy, the lemon pepper fries are crispy and the rice is the perfect consistency (in my eyes that means the rice was not mushy). In my second round I only did shrimp and mussels, the scallops were really small in size (they were giving mini), and the crawfish was good as well I just felt they were time consuming and a lot of work for the tiny amount of meat that actually came out, typically I would not care but with the time limit my main focus was the shrimp and mussels . I stuck with the same sauce and spice level but for my 3 sides I chose potatoes, (they gave me about 2 good sized mini potatoes), corn they give 1 cob, and sausage which was the usual sausage they include in seafood boils they gave a couple of pieces (3-4). For dessert they have beignets (which are NOT included in the AYCE) but were AMAZING!!! So warm and good but if we are comparing beignets to Disneyland, the Crab n Spice beignets were giving more cronuts but in the best way. Very warm and flaky with a choice of original or Nutella and I highly recommend the Nutella filling!! Overall I enjoyed my first time at Crab N Spice, the service was great we did not have to wait long, we were given bibs, gloves, scissors/crackers, and they have a mini trash can in the middle of the table that the servers are constantly emptying all the shells from! Our server was great and very good with checking in on my family and I! Thank you Crab N Spice, I will definitely be returning and posting about this place on...
Read moreService was good. The (all you can eat) AYCE is questionable in my opinion. All the videos and advertisements I saw stated that sides were included in the AYCE. If that was the case it would be well worth the money. Nothing but the limited option boil bags are included in the AYCE…
The AYCE menu is very limiting, and they charge for any extra or dipping sauce/ even for butter. Even when you get the AYCE, they charge extra for things like shrimp with no head, more than one cluster of snow crab… it’s not truly and all you can eat.
I got the AYCE king crab…. Totally not with it. Smallest king crab I ever had. This scissors they provided was too dull to cut through the shell. they don’t even take the courtesy to file down the pointy pieces. I think this is def a sales tactic, cause by the time I got done fighting the first bag I didn’t want to order another one because I had so many cuts on my hands. Plus the quality was not that great compared to king crab I have had elsewhere. The scallops were miniature pieces. And the seasoning had way too much garlic it upset my stomach halfway through my bag. So much so that I stop using the season and asked for just plain butter.
The lobster is probably more worthy of its price for what you get. Over all not a bad deal but not impressed with the AYCE thing they have going on.
Also with AYCE they will charge $20 for any leftover and you cannot take it home…. Alittle shady if you ask me. I get they do that cause some ppl take advantage but still. They nickel and dime for everything not included. I don’t feel it is really all fair all you can eat. They price the regular boil bags higher than the AYCE so you almost always got for the AYVE cause it makes since… but when you order a second bag you also have to order from every category … you cannot just order more crab legs. So they make you order more thank you really want and charge if you cannot eat it all.
Lastly almost all the employees were great. The young girl at the front that greets and seats you needs to work on her facial expressions. She doesn’t speak loud enough, I saw her satre or Roll her eyes at other patrons, she seemed like a nice girl, but also seemed like she had a little bit of an attitude. As the face of the place she should be alittle more cheerful and less disrespectful with your looks/ facial...

When you walk in, there is zero greeting. There was no "Hello", no welcome. Is it your first time here. Nada. There was a young lady standing there directing you to the poster next to the hostess stand to scan and add yourself to the waiting list. First red flag. There's a sign that says you can't be seated until your entire group is there. They sat some people with a large group that only had a few of them there while the others trickled in. Our group was a party of 2 but we waited at least 30 min. Which in itself is not a big deal, but with the rest of the experience, it was just not a good sign. Red flag number 2. We finally get seated. Then sat there waiting to be helped. Meanwhile, the party of 2 that was sat after us was being served their drinks. The manager comes to inform us that they're in the middle of a shift change, but he'll take our drink order. We asked for water, his entire demeanor changed, and he never came back with water. Red flag 3. FINALLY, our server pops up. What can I get you to drink? We already ordered water, thanks. Oh, sorry, I'll just order it again. There was no order placed for you. We waited at least another 20 minutes before getting WATER! Red flag 4. While we are being served water, the party after us is being served their food. Red flag 5. At this point, we are contemplating our choice of location to try this for the first time. We wanted to leave at that point, but we thought maybe it's us, so we'll stick it out. We order. Meanwhile, the party after us is like on their 3rd serving of their AYCE. Finally, get served. Literally, the only thing I liked of that menu was the lemon pepper fries. Our server was terrible. The customer service was terrible. The food was terrible. Honestly, I felt like we got robbed paying that bill. You can forgive bad customer service with great food. Or forgive bad food with great customer service. When both are lacking, it makes for a terrible impression and experience. I asked for a refund, and the business blocked me. They do not care about anything but make their money. If you must try crab n spice, it is at your own risk. 10/10 DO...
