Plaza Antiques — Local services in Las Vegas

A good antique store has stuff that is rare, weird, historical and rarely or never seen. This is the kind of collectible that you will find at Plaza Antiques. The old glass showcases are loaded with strange, unseen before things. Not going to ruin the surprise, but some of the jewelry, insignias, medallions and military pins are awesome. Radios, model airplanes, and other cool stuff are hidden behind other odds and ends. Hopefully, Las Vegas will one day assume dominance over the gentrified urbanity of Santa Fe but until then, there is Plaza Antiques. And, the prices are...

My family and I were traveling from California and had decided to stop and visit The Plaza Hotel when I discovered this little gem! There were so many awesome things in this store! Andy, the owner was very nice and helpful too. He even made sure to carefully wrap and box my purchases so they could make it safely back to California. The owners of this place are treasures themselves. This store is the kind of place you can spend multiple days in and not even see half of the inventory. Not cluttered. I wish I could start every morning with a sangwich from the “prairie hill cafe” (in the hotel at the other end of the block from here) and a journey through the antiques. A must visit place when...
