Kickstart Kafe — Restaurant in Las Vegas

I’ve been here before, but it was never as a regular since I don’t live in Vegas.

After the fiestas, we decided to stop in real quick for a coffee.

As soon as we walked in, the tall guy with glasses stopped his conversation with a customer and his coworker. Not a “Hey, welcome in” he just looked at us and said “Our kitchen is closed. We’re not serving food right now”

Well hi to to you too lol.

When I walked up to the counter, he just stared at me. Like I was disturbing him. The menus were in front of him. He didn’t offer one, didn’t say a single word as I picked up the menu.

When I went to order, dude looked at me with a cocky arrogant smirk like I was an idiot. I placed my order, walked away.

Funny enough he wasn’t the one who even made my drink, another barista did. It was great, they brought it out to me and were polite, but wow.

The arrogance from this guy was insane. Congrats! You know the difference between a macchiato and a mocha— but you lack basic human respect and customer service (which is the field you work in, in case you forgot)

Should have just gone to Dichos or Cafecito....

This cafe is wonderful!! First off, the staff was very welcoming off the bat. He offered us both food & drink menus & pointed us to the specials menu. I decided to get a Hometown sandwich paired with a pistachio Italian Soda. My sister ordered the Kickstart Sub with a toasted marshmallow Italian soda. Everything was beyond delicious! This cafe is beyond comfy & friendly not to mention, the service was fast. We will definitely be returning to try more items, especially the coffee! 10/10, 5 Stars!! Good job...

Very cutely decorated cafe with excellent baked goods. We didn't try any other foods available for breakfast or the lunch specials, but we a enjoyed a break with the coffee, and tasty white chocolate and caramel scones. If you arrive early enough, there's a basket of half price day old pastries on the counter to make trying new things tempting. This is also a cultural space occasionally.
