Kroger — Local services in Lawrenceburg Township

I have seen truck stop restrooms that are cleaner! The sinks barely work, soap dispensers are just broken or laying on the counter! Fecal matter on dispensers in stall and on wall. Mildew or black mold on the bathroom floor!! The toilet paper dispensers are taped on!! This store is so ill managed that it is unfathomable. I have never seen anything like it in my entire 58 years of existence! This store used to be so much better managed. It has gotten worse and worse over the past few months. One would think that someone higher up would care!!! It leaves one to ponder if this location even has a manager. I'd rather go to Walmart anymore! The Heavy bag of dog food I needed was not on shelf in it's spot but on a really high shelf! I had enough at home still luckily, so I ordered on Chewy instead. A 50 lb bag over my head seems a bit dangerous to lift. No help in sight. Hopefully they get a better store manager. It was wonderful 2 or 3 years ago!! What happened? Also there are random unpriced items in the freezer section. I was interested in an item, however due to not knowing the price, and an employee not knowing either I changed my mind. Is it up to us to figure it out when we have to check out own groceries...

Click-list pickup orders here are a joke. I've ordered this way a handful of times and each time have been told that several items were 'out of stock.' Each time, I've walked right in the store and found/purchased all of the items that were 'out of stock.' Once? No big deal. A half dozen times? Annoying. Won't be ordering this way again.

As for in-store, this is a pretty good grocer, but I have two complaints: Several high-volume items are not ordered by the store as they should be. I can go up the street to the Cleves store and find the exact same items, without fail. Items such as Emeril's blackened seasoning and many varieties of frozen meals. My other issue is that the big guy working in the meat department is just plain rude. The first time, I figure, meh, he's having a bad day. Nope, he's just rude.

Conversely, the folks in produce have never been anything but helpful and polite. The pharmacy staff is excellent, in my limited experience. The front end group are great and the liquor store gal is one of the nicest people you'd ever want to meet.

On July 8th 2024 I went to kroger to get some groceries I went to the self checkout. I had dragon fruit in my cart and some other items I didn't have a barcode to scan to ring up my dragon fruit I looked round for a associate all I saw was bout 7 high school kids in a circle (not working) behind where they sell cigarettes. I was at those self checkout scanners next to cigarettes station. N e who I said excuse me can I get some help and they all just looked at me as the one girl with a huge attitude problem not sure why she is there go to high school to hang out with ur friends we here to shop and not get treated disrespectfully. So then I proceed to tell the associate who I guess was assigned at self checkouts she was a older lady I told her what happened her response was awwwww poor thing seriously right now. Kroger who u hiring these days? Both generations old and young disrespected me and here I am middle aged knowing better NOT TO DO THAT AND TO TREAT OTHERS WITH RESPECT. I'm very disappointed with my experience and ur staff. So don't mind me when I come in with a attitude and treats ur associates the same way they disrespectednme that day. YA GOTTA GIVE...
