I ordered 1 LG beef lo mein with extra beef, (to start there was hardly any beef in it, about the amount that should come in it with out paying for extra. But even worse it had no flavor just grease), 1 LG sweet and sour chicken, (the chicken it's self was great but they didn't give me the sweet n sour sauce, so that was a disappointment.) An order of fried wontons (they rolled the bag closed trapping the heat causing the bag to fill with steam making them not only not crunchy but very hard and chewy,) and an order of chicken on a stick (which was very over cooked and very tough and dry.) I order these same things every time I've been there and only ever had an issue the last time I went (which I didn't bother to call them, I chalked it up to a bad day seen as it's always been good previously) and this time. Even worse than the terrible food I received tonight was their attitude. I explained to the lady who claimed to be the manager the issues that I had, as well as I know there food is normally very good so I wasn't sure how it could be so bad this time. I then could hear her and another voice yelling back and forth, (I'm not sure of what was being said as it was a language I don't speak) but when she came back on the phone her response was, "everything we make it top flavors, we only use high quality ingredients so we know nothing was wrong with your food." I am in complete shock. I never said the quality of the ingredients was bad, only that one item had no flavor, another badly bagged and a missing sweet and sour sauce, and apparently they are unable to make a mistake. WOW...I stopped her grilling me about trying to say their food wasn't good and let her know that I had been a long time customer but given the food and now the attitude and feeling like I'm being attacked cause I dare say something is wrong that for her not to worry about it, I would just find a new place to get Chinese food, and her response was, "Oh, ok good" and she hung up. We'll I can tell you for sure I would have given it negative stars if possible. I personally don't appreciate spending over $30 on food and then when there is a problem they want to act like that problem is me, well no more for me that's for sure. Good luck if you go there, as for my family and I, we won't be spending any more...
Read moreOrdered takeout over phone. Girl asked me to “hold on” after I said I’d like to place a takeout order. I said “Okay.” A couple seconds later she says “Okay.” I ask if she’s ready. “Yeah, go ahead.” I tell her my order and she says “Okay ten minutes.” I say okay thank you. Right as I’m about to hang out I hear her say “Hello?” I say hello again. She then says “Go ahead.” And I ask if she want’s me to repeat my order. She say’s “Go ahead.” And I repeat my order again. “About ten minutes.” Once again I say okay thanks. Confusing phone interaction to say the least, but language barriers I can forgive. I go there, pickup my order by giving them the phone number I called in with. Order total is $26 and some change. I hand the girl $40. I get back $3 and four pennies… I explain this is incorrect. I should’ve gotten back $13 and some change. They won’t accept what I’m saying and I try to explain to them I’m definitely due more than $3. Basically they stole $10 from me after I just paid $26 for my meal. Language barriers I can deal with, fooling with other peoples money I won’t. Food is fine, but not any better than the China Buffet down the road. If you eat here, I recommend giving exact cash to the cashier, within a dollar of the total. Also, this place is STILL...
Read moreFood is fabulous. A bit greasy, but that's the way it is everywhere. They do have a vegetarian option where they steam cook things so if your stomach can't handle the oil, opt for the steamed versions. Interesting that they have their female teen and a small boy running the cash register at times. The last time I was there I ordered about a half dozen Items and waited while several people who came in after me placed their orders and got them before I did. It took at least 30 minutes to get my food which would not have been an ordeal at a regular restaurant. But in this case, where there were only a few tables and they were occupied, I had to stand for 30 minutes and watch all those people get served before me. Once I finally got my food, I was offered no apology for the wait. The two children played and made all kinds of noise at the cash register and the adults in back cooking yelled at the kids often while people were trying to eat. It's not anywhere you would want go to do anything but pick up a to go order unless you like crowed and loud. But, on a high note. The food is delish and I would go there often if I could afford it. Expect about...
